Beautiful book, small sections but with lots of information

A lovely reference book for all ages.
Ideal for learning who was on the throne during certain dates, or finding out who usurped who and how the direct (and indirect) bloodline affected the monarchy. Great book for pub quizzers!It's a 'read, put down, pick up' book with information and pictures of interest.

Good chronological summary of British monarchy
We've been reading this to my 7 year old son who has requested it repeatedly. Possibly a bit old and sometimes inappropriate for him to read by himself but has a great chronological breakdown of the royal dynastic families with a page at least on each monarch from Edward the Confessor onwards and some earlier coverage of Anglo-Saxon kingdoms. All the way to Charles III.
