These gloves are made especially for runners and they are awesome! They are soft, easy to get on/off, and the weights are perfectly placed so that they are comfortable to run in while still getting a great workout. These gloves force you to work your arms and give you great arm drive which all runners know is critical for peak condition and speed. My race times have finally improved significantly after just a short time using these gloves. They designed these gloves really well and I'm so glad that I don't have to carry clunky weights anymore!

I have tried every weighted glove and wrist weight out there! For cardio kickboxing its nice to have a weighted glove that doesn't' slide around and almost fly off your hand when you are punching over and over and over....These gloves give the perfect grip to squeeze onto and make a fist while delivering a snug weight to give you that extra weight to build some muscles! I love these gloves!!! I do wish they could have the option to add more weight in the glove, since the one pound is distributed so securely and evenly, it almost feels light!!UPDATE!: The metal weight in the palm breaks through the fabric of the glove and falls out (flies out if you are unlucky). I still LOVE these gloves and they are the best I have found, so I will not give up on them. Just know that this will happen and you will have to figure out a ways to duck tape or glue them back in.

I was looking for some weighted gloves to get more out of my VR sessions. The removable palm weight makes these perfect for that. There's really no better option for this specific task, at least that I know of.

I'll start with the good.These gloves made a nice addition to my Turbo Fire (kickboxing) routine. I injured my wrist several months ago and can't put weight on it or really lift weights for too long as it's still recovering. Kickboxing has been a good compromise, and these gloves made a nice addition in upping the intensity of the workout and giving my arms a good flex. For my longer routine (40 minutes) I had to remove the half pound from the palm just so I could finish the workout. The additional weight, though small, really ups the cardiovascular as well! The half pound on the back of the hand is some kind of sand or beads sewn in. Honestly, the amount of heavy breathing I did from adding literally a singular pound to my arms, made me feel embarrassed, but I'm here to give you the facts and that heavy breathing is facts.The okay.The gloves fit well enough (i'm 6'4). My hands aren't CRAZY big, but still bigger than average and they fit well with the large. The wrist tightening strap is okay. It never feels fully 'right', like either too loose or irritatingly tight, but it only affects a minor part of the glove so generally when I really start sweating I forget about it. Feel the burn and just let me live!The bad.The pouch to remove the weight has already torn and I've only had the gloves a week and used them for six workouts. It's definitely tedious to remove and/or replace the weights, but that's because it needs to be secure if you're going to be punching your hand at your TV (i feel the tradeoff is worthwhile). However, the pouch that holds the weights has already torn on one side and is seriously fraying on the other. It looks like the type of fray and damage you might see after some intense months (hopefully years) of usage, so that doesn't speak well of the fabric being used to house the weight that could in theory fly off your hand and into you tv, mirror, or maybe your baby that you've forced to watch you workout. (I don't know your life, Mary.)The gloves get three stars because I will continue to use them for the half pound that seems to be well sewn into the back (of course, maybe it just needs another week to reveal its true nature. We'll see). They are decent, much like my attitude whilst writing reviews on Amazon.

Good quality and fit for my big hands. Worth the price.

I use these on most of my runs. They make me concentrate on my form to keep it consistent and give my arms a workout without having to squeeze my hands around the weights.
