Vented Crawl Space Access Door, Fits 16" H × 32" W Openings

I've updated my review after speaking with customer service because they made it right on their end and I appreciate that greatly. I have left the list of my modifications below for reference. However, after speaking with customer service, they are working to correct some of these issues. It it will do what's it's supposed to do. However, some serious things to point out. It feels cheap is actually pretty sturdy. It comes with screws and anchors but there are no pre drilled holes so prepare to do that yourself. Not sure if these are masonry screws either. Look like wood screws to me. Also the pin that holds the screen/louver/cover on is a screw but doesn't actually screw in, it's too long, and it does have a bolt or cap as show in the instructions. Plus, there are no holes for it to go into the louver/screen. And the hole in the side that holds the cover on in both sides. Drilled all holes to mount it, drilled into the louver/screen so the included bolt that doesn't even work could go through it, drilled through the center and added a bolt and added my own bolts with a nut to effectively hold it together. If you don't, it will slip out. You can see the pics below and my description for the modifications I made to get it to work how it needs to. Again, they are working on making changes and improving the product and they took care of me regarding my issues. I'd buy again based on that fact alone because it is rare for a company to take care of things the way they did.

I was looking to re-frame my wall to my crawl space due to a new furnace needing installed. Had to cut open the wall to get it down there. I ordered this and it mounted perfectly over the hole covering up all the cosmetic damage. Definitely was worth it. A little pricey for a piece of plastic in my opinion, but I still highly recommend!

I was looking for a louvre for my new construction crawlspace that was removable so I could gain access to the space. This product fit the bill. There's even a cover if I wish to close it off. Crawlspace Doors rep Chris was very helpful. Their product is strong, durable and looks good. Installation took all of about 15 minutes. I'm a very satisfied customer.

Easy installation. Great solution for me. I’m a 67 year old female and I installed over brick all by myself. I didn’t want to drill into the brick so I used Gorilla Heavy Duty Ultimate Construction Adhesive. It adheres to the brick and the frame perfectly. I used white spray paint (for plastic) to get a match to my white painted brick.

Product as described. I had to get a size much wider than I needed to get a door tall enough for my openings. Also one of the frames came with a 2" piece of the corner broke and loose in the box. No doubt happened in transit. But would not have happened as easily with corner protection in the packaging.

The pros: The product is made very well. I like how I'll have a good airflow under my house. No animals will be able to enter with the screen. In the winter the cold air won't blast in with the cover mounted on it. The cons: just throw the screws away, because they are junk. The head will strip out just by hand tightening. I used stainless one inch #8 lath screws with a large low profile head.

Easy to install once I built a frame for it. I used it under a doublewide mobile home.

This crawl space door fit perfectly. The outside cover is snug. The only downfall is that the mesh screens won't stay in place unless the plastic over is in place. Therefore, I must always keep the black cover over the screens. It is made of durable plastic and this will assist with keeping cats or other things out of the crawlspace.
