This adapter works well with no issues. Compared to other adapters it is built well, the materials appear to be of higher quality, and it has a good feel in the hand. The items ship with a plastic cover on the "gold plated" connecter, providing additional protection. I'm not sure if, at this price, these are made with real gold, but of course what is most important is how these work, and I've had no issues at all. Plug it in and you are good to go.

I got this to have easy access to my usb ports on the Mac. The Mac is very sensitive and usually a bit hard to plug or unplug USB-C cables from it and over types I notice it ruins the usb-c port. These angle connectors are life savers, it helps me not have to plug and unplug on the side of the Mac, it allows for easy access to my Mac usb-port, and if anything plugging and unplugging devices from it might eventually wear down or ruin this angle connectors but not the Mac connectors which are very costly. This is a cheap solution that works well, which ass no degradation to the charging or connection. All my devices connect well still, as these angle connectors are well designed. I also had no issue charging my phone or using devices that need power. It is pretty short in side, not very long.

Worked like a charm. I use them to charge my portable charger using an existing long cord. Saves me from having crawl under desk to plugin

Usable but not perfect, every 5 or so plug attempts don't register, at least the LED lets you know that the connection is good. I moved my new workstation under my desk and it only took me minutes to lose my patience bending down to reach a port to plug in a Yubikey ( https://www.amazon.com/Yubico-Two-factor-authentication-security-certified/dp/B08DHL1YDL/ ) or to swipe a CAC card ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09JK8LQ4P/ ). I have two brand new cables I can use to basically extend these two ports to somewhere more convenient on my desktop, but then I get stuck with two male ports. These adapters were just right for the job. Like I said earlier, they do work, but it's sort of a coin toss because one in 5-6 plug attempts fails. And the price is right.

I have 2 audio interface that uses USB-C. Both have connectors only in the back where it's a several hour process to get to the connector. I have 2 computers. One of the computers is also in a rack and is about an hour long process to get to the USB-C port. Yeah, I don't know why I went this route... Anyhow, I bought some USB-C cables for all 4 endpoints, and pre-ran them to a common spot, tied them together, and needed something to patch them togethere - that is where this comes in. It's a complete win, connects the cables together with no fuss, no noise, no problems; even has a handy, small, indicator light that it's involved. I don't know about passing power through it, not my use case, but otherwise, this is exactly what I need to relieve several hours of effort and save wear and tear on my USB-C ports

This product does not work as a video cable extender like it states in the add. It does not work as a charger extender either. Unfortunately I waited too long the and can no longer return them. This experience has retaught me a lesson I learned a long time ago. Trust but verify

I bought these specifically for use at work where I could plug in my charger and at the other side of the conference room still be able to charge my phone / laptop using the 2 x 2m USB c cables I already had in my bag. These are rated even higher than the 65W I need to charge my laptop and work perfectly

Power and data are flowing nicely. Can't give a comment on the data rate, since I'm not using powerful enough devices to check. Little led on both sides give a clear indication of power passing through. Seems it doesn't get hot, but again, I'm not using it at full capacity. Fit and finish is very nice looking, the cables are firmly attached and the metallic body is strong.
