Good expansion but battery life is much shorter than DJI claims
This larger version of the standard battery provides longer battery life but also a more balanced feel on the RS 4 gimbal. The battery is longer so feels more comfortable in your hand and lowers the centre of gravity slightly.I would, however, challenge DJI's claim that the battery will give you 12hrs of use. In reality it is far far shorter than that - maybe half of that at best if you're filming frequently from my experience.

Extra battery life.
Great item for upgraded battery life on the RS4. Does it job, its a little longer than the BG21 grip. Gives extra juice to film for the footages.

Great item but...
Using this with a DJI RS3, and a Sony ZV E10 with a tamron 17-70mm zoom lens. Works great, and I'm enjoying the auto tracking feature which tracks very well. Takes a little bit of time to set up initially but once done, you're good to go. An excellent quality item! For set up, there are some quality videos on YouTube which I found very useful as you may need to change some settings in your camera to geti it to work. A quick search will find plenty of good options as the DJI vids don't seem to cover the in camera changes that may be needed.Buy it and enjoy!..

Fishy software
Overall the Dji Raveneye Transmission System is OK. The transmission lag is way shorter than Canon's Camera Connect can do. It's ~9 frames of 4k@60p i.e. ~150ms. The picture quality is quite good for a mobile phone. Most of the functions worked seamlessly with Canon EOS R7. Here go the two which did not:- setting cameras parameters which I couldn't change from the phone,- and the active tracking which worked unacceptably bad - quickly losing a moving subject (the device couldn't return to tracking it after that on its own) or causing my Dji RS4 gimbal to move erratically back and forth (Canon's R7 + RF-S 18-150)The device requires a Dji app for mobile phones. There's such app in the apple store (iPhones), but not in the Google Play store (Android). For Android you need to download it from the Dji website (!). You don't know whether it is safe or a malicious app.Once downloaded it operated correctly but one thing: It didn't show the firmware version for the Raveneye although the app had a dedicated placeholder for it.Again, maybe the firmware was tampered with and not safe to use?Due to those security concerns I decided to return the product, which otherwise I'd happily keep.

It was a little awkward to set up
It was a little fiddly to put together and get it working and linked up but once it was done it worked perfectly
