Luxury Comfort Without the Luxury Price Tag – No Regrets!
I’ve always been a Tempur-Pedic fan, having owned two in the last ten years, and I’ve always preferred them firm. But as the years passed, both my mattress and my body changed. The firmness I once loved started hurting my shoulder, and with some weight gain, I realized my mattress was no longer providing the right support. I seriously considered replacing it with another Tempur-Pedic, but before dropping $2500, I figured I’d give this topper a shot. And I’m so glad I did! It revitalized my mattress, relieved my shoulder pain, and gave me the perfect blend of support and comfort—all without the hefty price tag of a full replacement. One thing to note: this softer memory foam really lets you sink in, which feels amazing for joint support and relaxation. But at first, it did take a little extra effort to get out of bed compared to a firmer surface. That said, after about a month, my body fully adjusted, and now it’s not an issue at all.If your mattress feels too firm or less comfortable than it used to, this topper might be the perfect fix. Highly recommend!

Makes bed super soft
I have a queen size "firm" posturepedic Plus Hybrid Sealy mattress and although it's an excellent mattress, I still experienced some loss in circulation and pressure on my hips and shoulders as a side sleeper. I had been planning on buying this mattress topper for about a month before purchasing. I watched a video of someone reviewing it outside of Amazon and I'd like to share some notes he stated that are true to this topper. If you want to watch that video, look up "Tempur adapt mattress topper review - the best pressure relief?" by Mattress Clarity. The video as of writing this review is 5 years old.For reference, I am 5'6", 107lbs and I'm bony. I sleep on my side but sometimes roll over onto my back during the night. I have osteoarthritis in my left hip and I've had a history of cervical nerve issues, which makes my left arm numb when I sleep wrong.Your mattress underneath has to be firm because this topper is SOFT. You probably don't want to be trapped inside your mattress if it's too soft. If your mattress is, for instance, 8 out of 10 on the firmness scale (10 being closer to that of a tabletop), then this topper will reduce that number to around 5. My mattress is soft in comparison to other brands, so there was a concern that this topper would make my bed too soft, but that hasn't been the case. When I first put this on top of my mattress, I was concerned my hips and especially my shoulders would poke through the foam and be touching the mattress. It might be two inches thick but I haven't actually done that. I'm well-padded. The softness is perfect for me. It did take a few nights for my body to adjust, as I was still waking up with sore hips, but after a month of sleeping on this combo, I wake up refreshed.I was concerned that I'd maybe need the 3 inch topper instead, but the 2 inches work perfectly fine. Maybe in the future when I might wear this one out, I'll get the 3inch. But for now, this works.I also love how, like the tempur-pedic mattress, it's motion isolating. I wouldn't trust that a glass of wine wouldn't topple over, like they used to demonstrate in old tempur-pedic commercials, because my Sealy mattress is a bit springy. So if you're expecting this to be perfectly motion isolating, I think it largely depends on your mattress. If you were like me and were concerned that this topper might shift around without mattress straps, it's ok because mine hasn't budged. However, I do not flop around much while I sleep, so I'm not sure if a flopper would experience the same thing I have been. The box came with a nice fitted sheet that keeps it in place. But for me, this topper has so much grip, I struggled getting it onto my mattress because it decided it didn't want to move. I would recommend someone else help you, especially if you have a queen or larger. But it is doable solo.Speaking of the fitted sheet it came with, you might want to look into replacing the fitted sheet you already have with something with deeper pockets because this topper does heighten your bed. Deeper pockets or size up, like from queen to king. There is minimal smell right out of the package. I didn't mind it at all.I couldn't immediately access my package when it arrived. So this topper was sitting in its packaging for several days. I was worried it wouldn't decompress. Luckily, it decompressed almost immediately by itself. I didn't need to do anything for it to spring into working order. As for my medical issues, I experienced some arthritic pain at first, but that slowly disappeared. I've had zero issues with my cervical nerve to the point where I forget I even have that issue.I would recommend this tempur-pedic mattress topper to those who have similar features to me and for side sleepers. Larger builds will benefit from this as well, but if you're bigger, I'd suggest watching that video because the guy reviewing it is a bigger guy.Update (April 19 2025): Tempurpedic foam, I've learned, makes you sweaty at night. I haven't really stopped sweating with this topper. I am normally a cold sleeper, so this surprised me. Also, it did shift a little bit and it's hard to move it back in place, so I've kept it where it decided to sit. The comfort of this item is too precious for me to get rid of it, that being said.

Warning : Tempurpedic has changed the formula of it's Tempur-Topper Supreme Mid 2021
Hi guys, just wanted to give you guys a warning that the tempur-topper supremes are no longer high quality memory foam but they are still being sold for the same price and under the same name. We bought two toppers in May / June 2021 and liked the feel of them so purchased another in October. The one that came in October was nothing like the first two, it had no "sinking" feeling at all and the structure of the foam was much more porous and light. If you press down all the way on the older formula it takes around 5 seconds for it to go back to the original shape, however on the new one it would come up almost immediately. I have been trying to find out from Tempur-pedic whether they had changed the formula but they keep skirting around the issue in emails only saying they do not reveal their formula to the public.I was told by their CSR that they only have one model of the normal topper supreme, and another with a cooling feature called the adapt+ cooling. The CSR told me they would send a replacement but when it arrived it was the same exact thing. On the tags for the older toppers that we bought they were labelled as Visco-Elastic Polyurethane and both made between April and May 2021. The newer toppers only are labelled as Polyurethane and were made in August 2021 and December 2021.The new formula has a much lower density making it much lower in quality and it will not last as long, the old formula had a density of 3.5lbs and the new one 2.3lbs. It feels like any other cheap topper off amazon now.We have another cheap memory foam topper that we got off amazon for like 80 bucks and that one feels better than these new ones from Tempurpedic that cost 400+ for a queen. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up so you don't get an inferior product for that kind of money. Not sure why they had to change the formula but I think it's horrible that they are still charging the same price for this and I will not be buying any Tempurpedic products in the future.
