Very good, not super reflective but does give a nice subtle metalic finish. A little goes a long way and very opaque covered brass and black colored metal nicely.

This is the best product to use in many craft items with good durability. Bottles, wood, over paintings, etc. Variety of colors makes this pack a bonus

I have used this product for years. Never disappoints. Will use nothing else for my crafts. Easy to use and highest quality.

I found the Silver Leaf and Pewter gilding wax to be easy to work with and smooth as butter. A very small amount goes a long way, as others have noted. They are both very pretty once applied and when buffed they have a beautiful shine. The Ebony on the other hand was not so pleasant to work with...it was gritty and gloppy. I tried to knead it as was suggested, but it did not improve the consistency. With a little extra work the Ebony was workable and had decent results. I did, however, enjoy working with the gilding waxes and found the results very impressive. I started my project with painting with a black base then, continued with the gilding waxes. I am very pleased with the beautiful results.

This is an amazing product, bought something & didn’t like the color & rubbed this onto it & I love it. Great that I can virtually change anything I want by rubbing this on it. Very happy with product. Recommend for sure

I used Rub N’ Buff to paint parts of my 3D printed cosplay prop to appear metallic. The application is super easy - I used a rag for large flat areas and a Q-top for small, detailed areas. For an aged metallic finish, I painted the prop with a black base paint prior to using Rub an’ Buff. You only need a tiny pea-sized amount to cover a decently large area. I would recommend this to anyone looking to paint cosplay parts and figurines!
