Yale Security AYRDB-DRIVE Drive-In Deadbolt Latch, 2-3/8" to 2-3/4", Nickel

Not only does it work with my 8 yr old Nest Yale lock YRD540, it works GREAT! Someone who shall remain nameless (ok, my teenaged son) slammed the door so hard so many times while the old bolt was still extended that it bent to the point of no return. Had to remove it just to close the door. And then? Amazon once again for the win! Overnight delivered this and installed in literally seconds. Just push it in. Sure it’s not the old rectangle screw into the wood recessed mounting collar but as you can see some simple wood patch to fill the area flush which I did last night to let it dry and it slid in easily. Now just some primer and paint and good to go. NB: Took a second to remember how to extend it for the longer 2¾” backset my front door has since it comes pre-set at 2⅜. A quick google search had the answer: push the black button on the bottom to disengage a locking pin and yank it out to the next indent.

Replacement was perfect fit for the yale rd226, the fit was exactly what was needed and as simple as placing the spindle into the slot. Same grade lock quality and durability as any other lock.

Works as perfectly as the original in its fit and design. Build quality is exactly the same as the original - what more can one ask for? It's a perfect duplicate of the original part! 🙂

Didn’t work for my needs but the item is sturdy

I was hesitation about ordering this as it doesn't list my specific Yale lock model in the description, but after seeing another review with my same lock model, I went ahead and gave it a try and I'm glad I did! It was a perfect replacement for my Yale x Nest YRD540. I was more affordable than I'd thought it'd be and it works great. No complaints here!

I ordered it for the Yale Assure Lock II and it didnt fit. Just return the whole lock to the hardware store. Not worth trying to figure out a defective part especially when sellers claim to sell a part that claims its compatible model but really isnt.

Product exactly as described. It fit perfectly for my Yale lock. Very affordable for anyone. Easy installation. Works fantastically. I would recommend anyone trying this out before buying a whole new $300 lock.

was a replacement for a Yale lock and did t fit . these locks just break first after numerous door slams and then u are stuck with 200 bucks in hardware that doesn't work.

Made installation of my yale easy. No need to chisel out my old door.

Have no real idea on this one I never ever did use the Yale lock again as it was just a pain in the backside after it fell apart I went to Google nest and I won't regret that one It's a much better setup although what I don't like about the lock is that you have to take it all apart in order to hit the reset button if you have to be disconnected from the internet and unless somebody can show an easier way to connect to the internet without having to go through all that grief that's the only real negative about that and that's why I broke the Yale lock in the first place so think about what you want to get I suggest the Google nest 2 door lock
