CasioMen's GST-B100-1ACR G-Shock Analog Display Quartz Black Watch

This watch is seriously awesome! My son absolutely loves it, and he's been wanting one like this forever. The way it connects with his phone is amazing. He hasn't stopped wearing it since I got it for him. Best gift ever!

The looks are what got my attention and it's a G-Shock, meaning it will take a beating. It's a large watch but not as big as a Mudmaster. The strap is comfortable and it rides well on the wrist. Bear in mind however this is NOT a smartwatch. It's a connected watch. Primarily it syncs with internet time servers. Similar to 'atomic time'. With the talk of the U.S. dropping funding for the NIST radio broadcast atomic time signal transmitters these connected Bluetooth watches are the next best bet. Mine syncs reliably 4 times a day. Had some problems getting it to connect with a GS8+ at first. I had made some changes in Android's Developer Options to tweak Bluetooth audio and had to reset most of the Bluetooth settings to default in order to make it work. My S8+ is running Oreo 8.0.Some folks have claimed it won't work with a Gslaxy S8+. It does - at least on Verizon.

Let me start by saying this is not a fragile watch like Apple Watch or Samsung frontier Both of these i own and broke both of them this is not a smart watch and it’s also not a small watch so far I love the durability and accuracy of the watch we’ll see how overtime it holds up I’m new to Solar watches and this one is a little hard to tell what kind of charger has on it The app is convenient for setting all the functions but no where in the app does it tell what level the charges is well hopefully at some point they’ll change this and will be able to get an accurate measure of charge I would buy this watch again in a heartbeat and if you work hard and play hard this watch will probably survive it

I have hairy arms and it catches often under the case, but it is easily resolved with positioning and care. The crown was a bit stiff at the start and I am not the biggest fan of setting the watch via the Casio app.I have to say that I am being a bit critical though. The watch is excellent. I’ve banged the crystal a few times and no scratches. I enjoy the features, the bezel holds up to my everyday, outdoor use and it has excellent movement for the money. This was well worth the purchase.
