This shampoo and conditioner does it’s job in toning down the yellow in your bleached hair. You only have to use it once or twice a week. It has a hint of grape sent to it. It does dry the hair out a bit. I had to use another treatment in between the days I used this one. Which helped. I got this here on amazon when it was on sale. Truthfully I do not believe it’s worth the retail price by far. I also tried a sample pack from Walmart for $1.50. It worked very well. So I am not unhappy with my purchase. It did exactly what it was suppose to do but once I run out I will not be paying that retail price for another purchase.

I really like this shampoo! We have a blonde in the house, and the winter definitely leaves her hair a bit dull and brassy. I had never experienced that before her, but it really does happen, and it isn't the prettiest of seasons. This works great!Pros:1) smells good, and does it without adding a ton of extra crap to the product. I love anything that doesn't have to use extra junk to still smell nice. It is doable!2) works well! Suds is nice, but it rinses clean very easily. Came out of my daughter's hair quickly and still left it soft.3) lightweight enough to not take the curl out of my daughter's very fine hair. It definitely did not weigh it down!4) left her color looking nice! It definitely dulled the brassiness a bit. It will take a few uses to really tame it, I think, but after the first use there was a difference. Great results for a single use.Cons:1) no cons for me. I do wish they didn't use any artificial dyes, but that's part of the success, I suppose. All in all they aren't the bad dyes, so I will take it. I do really love this product for her!

I’ve recent become allergic to my regular shampoo and conditioner. When I searched for Shampoo and conditioner Paraben Free, Sulfate Free, and no added MIT and Silicones I came across this shampooPurple shampoo is REALLY purple. Kinda scary when you first use it but it won’t stain your hair. Since I really bought this for the ingredients I haven’t noticed a difference in the color of my hair. I do happen to notice having a little bit of an itchy scalp from the dryness.I’d probably get this again in the future.

In fairness, my hair has more red than yellow, so I get orange tones, this seems as if it would be more effective against just yellow tones in the hair. It seemed a little drying also.

I bought the shampoo and conditioner hoping and praying it could help me keep my light ash blond from going brassy due to minerals in my water. I’m about 6 washes deep, and let me tell you...HALLELUJAH, IT WORKS!!!I have tried everything, even the expensive brands, including Monat and Big Sexy Hair’s Blond Bombshell, and they didn’t do what this product did! I was stunned! Even after the first use, I could see the difference. The scent in the bottle can only be described as Hubba Bubba Grape gum and Dimetapp having a secret love child, but then it mellows into something just...nice. Not overpowering, just clean and pleasant. I generally wash my hair every other day to reduce wear and tear, and it still smells clean on the second day. This product does everything it says it does, and I’ll definitely be buying it again!

Very nice product, it does tend to dry out my hair, but you can't beat the ingredients being so pure and the awesome price point. I think it has been quite effective for me, as far as color correction goes. For reference I have highlighted platinum blonde hair and I like my hair WHITE. This gets rid of any brassiness that pops up from my water.

This shampoo worked immediately to improve color but it has a weird consistency. It recommends washing hair twice with other shampoo before using. So now I have extra steps. Smell is ok but be prepared for shampoo that doesn't lather well. Conditioner is ok too. I gave 4 stars since it works good but not 5 stars since I have extra washing steps.

I like these. I still haven't found 'the one' but I will probably keep ordering this set until I do. They keep my ice blonde from getting too brassy, without turning it purple. I use them in conjunction with the leave in toner and some coconut oil, and my hair is in fairly good shape, considering it's naturally ebony!
