I didn't see that one ending there. Chanel, a tough broad who has had to raise her brother Brody since she was young due to their parents being fully immersed in the drug world has a new start on life, one not forcing her to be a whore, but Brody has been suckered into a new job. Working for Lucas, their streets craziest man who loves to kill the women he lays with just to watch them die. Lucas is actually tracking Chanel for someone, but he is falling for her too. Learning about how her parents died, might just save her life from the sick sob that hired him to find her. Do they have more in common that he thought?

OMG...I cannot deal with this duet. I LOVED it so much! Lucas is the guy you want to hate. In fact, you hate him just from the prolong of the story and you wonder "how in the heck is this author going to make me fall for this guy?". LET ME TELL YOU...you will fall for him hard!!!! He has an obsession and once he has an obsession, there is no going back. He wants Chanel. Chanel knows how bad of a man Lucas is and she tries so hard to stay away but it's impossible to stay away from a guy like Lucas. She doesn't want to have feelings for him but she does. Book #2 of their story is so dang good too!! You won't be able to put these books down. It's going to the top of my favorites list for sure.

Obviously it is a wild storyline. He is truly a villain and so messed up. The story is ridiculous but I love it. The mafia drama is immaculate. And the smut, low key a fan, haha.

This was one that definitely lived up to its warnings haha. The main girl has a strong sense of self and it's easy to get behind her quickly. The guy has ~issues~ for sure but trust me when I say when you get a glimpse into his back story it makes sense (so much so that I wish we had gotten that info a little earlier so I could really get on board with him) ends on a cliff hanger in that there will be some anger and some explaining needed from our guy but if you love good fights with the guys like I do you'll be just as excited for the next book as me.

This was a strange story, for me. But I finished reading it, and I don't bother to keep reading books that I don't find interesting so something about this story kept me reading. The main characters were not that likable. Why the main female character kept seeing the male character is way beyond belief, knowing what she and and everyone else knew about how his relationships ended. This book was very dark and, again, strange. Important plot points would certainly pop up out of the blue, and the story would take a strange new turn. Or something that seemed like an important point earlier in the story would just be dropped. And the characters did horrible things to one another. I guess if you like really dark stories with extremely questionable characters, you would like this story. It's a duet and I did get the second one. Don't know if I will finish it, but I was intrigued enough to try.

I think the ending made me give it a 5…the heroine’s attitude. I’ve been waiting for someone bad ass. Spoiler, she starts out as a hooker and I almost didn’t get past it. There’s things people won’t like but it fits with his crazy.

The whole series was great! Literally couldn't put down!

OMG this so good!! Has me on the edge of my seat the entire time!! Can't wait to read book 2!! So ready to see what happens next!!! I love a good cliffhanger!!

It's like a cat playing with a mouse. It's sick but in a gripping way. Lucas an absolute psychopath meets Chanel a prostitute who is rasing her teenage brother and only prostitutes herself to give him a brighter future, only he falls into working for Lucas.It's dark, light and all that grey this one, with good characters and dialogue and an addictive storyline.My only gripe is call me daddy, ewe, yuk I will vomit right now. Nope it's never sexy.It's a compelling read and I cannot wait for the next partChanel should move on, leave her brother to it, get shot of Lucas and make a new life for herself. The people around her are toxic.Recommended

What an absolute corker of a read!Lucas. He's awful. Evil. Sadistic. A real lowlife. Uses women. Discards them without a thought. Unless he kills them.Chanel. On the game to pay her way and educate her brother. Definitely full of sass!Chanel actually dares to stand up to Lucas and he's dragged in kicking and screaming all the way. He's as mesmerised by her, as she is by him. She just doesn't back down and there's fabulous banter and cheek goes on between them. Even the not so nice bits fall into place.Seems like all the cast are out to wind Lucas up...But just as you think you've worked out what's happening, Ms Smith throws not just as spanner, but a whole tool box, in the works, and totally blows you away! There is no way on earth I'd have seen what was coming. Now to wait for book 2 as I'm desperate to know what's going to happen next!Compelling reading!

This story is intense, dark and dangerous, but also captivating, thrilling and so so  addictive.This is a well written story which is dark, raw, gritty, full of secrets, emotions, humor, witty banter, love and sinful steam.Chanel is strong, fiesty and keeps Lucas on his toes. The push and pull was delicious.Lucas is sinful, dark and obsessed with Chanel. That ending .... so well written that your frustrated but equally excited for the next book.

'Daddy' isn't my kink, but I was so drawn in that I couldn't stop for just that one thing.Well, where do I start? This book had me hooked from start to finish. It was dark and twisted. It's been ages since I've had a good cliff hanger. I mean what is actually happening? Lucas isn't the hero that's for sure, but he's all man. Channel is fiercely protective, and owns her choices.I can't wait for the next one!

This is honestly my favourite book ive read from TLSmith by far. I just cant get over the cliffhanger at the end! I hate Lucas and loved Kier but omg Lucas is definitely more of a dangerous man than Kier in. Im surprised he isnt the Boss of the Mafia with what ive just read. I cant wait for book 2 to come out next month.
