Knipex is all good. This is a really useful plier which grips in two directions really well. Excellent value. If you buy cheap you buy twice so get the best first time.

These really are great pliers. They will grip a variety of shapes including hex both on the side and on the nose. I have a pair for my home workshop, got a pair for work (industrial gearbox repair) and bought a set as a gift for a mate. For certain jobs, you'll wonder how you managed without them

A bike mechanic once said that once you have a set of Knipex pliers in your toolbox, you'll be able to undo anything.These twin grip pliers allowed me to remove some sheared off motor mount bolts on my ebike with relative ease.The fact that you can grip your fastener in the same plane means that it's very handy in areas of tight access and limited movement.I guess I could have waited to purchase some security torx plus bits to undo the fasteners, but felt that an angle grinder and stud removal was quicker.The comfort grip suits my large hands very well, and I've been able to use this on other applications around the house where I need to fasten off fixings without much faff.Still no substitute to using the correct tools, but has got me out of a bind numerous times. Very versatile with robust build quality - hardened teeth that grips in the direction of rotation, so you can apply torque without risk of slipping.
