This slap-bracelet-chopstick product has changed my life.
Since when does a product that looks like it should be in an “As Seen On TV” packaging ACTUALLY work in real life? But it actually does... and it’s amazing. My bun game has never been stronger. As every working professional knows, if your git-shit-dun bun is NOT up to par—if it’s slipping off your head and little straggly hairs are getting in your eyes and you get those little tumors of hair rippling up from your slicked back scalp—it has been scientifically proven than productivity plummets, moods and actions cannot be held accounted, and sometimes people even DIE. Not with the Sheevol Beauty Hair Bun Maker, oh NO!! With these two slap-bracelets bound together like a pair of chopsticks you can conquer THE WORLD!! Your bun will stay perfectly perky and poised all day and night, and as an added bonus you get a gorgeous cascade of movie-star waterfall curls when you finally take it out. You might be thinking the only downside is that you HAVE to buy a three-pack of three different colors, and like, you only have one color hair that doesn’t tend to change every friggin’ day, so like, what are you gonna do with the other two slap-bracelet-chopsticks packs?? UMMM, HELLO—NEW BEST FRIEND ALERT!!! I gave the one I didn’t need to a girl in my office (#GirlsSupportingGirls, #Feminism) and now we’re basically sisters. THIS PRODUCT LITERALLY GIVES YOU THE GIFT OF FRIENDSHIP—WHAT IS MORE TIMELESS THAN THAT??? 5 stars, 10/10 would purchase again.

Better than the old versions but still not perfect
This sort of hair accessory has been around awhile and I have to say this one works better than the old ones I used to have, which didn't work at all. It worked decently well on my 5 year old's fine, wavy hair, but didn't initially work at all on my long, straight, coarse, Asian hair. My hair kept slipping out before I roll it up completely. The bands are also too sensitive- if you touch them wrong, they curl up before you are ready- this was a problem both with my daughter's hair and with my hair. That said, I was finally able to get them to work reasonably well by putting my wet hair in a pony tail and rolling it up after that. Price is good and once it's finally in, it seems to stay pretty well, so I can live with it. Just wish it was easier to use.

Headaches
It could be better in some ways. Does what its supposed to (even if you have layers) but it works best if your hair doesn't have layers. I would say the negatives are: it pulls your hair unless you use it as a low bun. It really does not look as good unless you have your hair in a ponytail while using this. To me that is a negative because hair ties are damaging and i bought this to avoid hair ties... Depends how much you care about all that and what look you are going for. Im sure if you have very thick hair on the top of your head it won't pull on your hair as much. I've noticed that it takes hair out when i take it out. I get headaches easily with my hair being pulled while it's up. I feel like thats my biggest problem with it. Seems durable.

Easy to use
I have chest-length wavy hair and I am not the most dextrous at using fancy little styling do-dads. I actually made a "leave the house worthy" bun on the first try, so that says everything. My hair is heavily layered so it takes a bit of tucking and pinning as I'm rolling and after I snap it closed, but I'm hoping this gizmo will be less damaging to my hair than all the twist, tug and pin messy buns I've been wearing! My hair is dark brown so I thought I could only use the brown and black shapers, but your hair completely covers the thing, so I can use the "blonde" one as well. They do seem a little flimsy and I can see how the "hair" will start frizzing up with use, so i'm not sure how long they will last. But hey, they're cheap to replace!

The clip bends easily and prematurely deploys while rolling the hair if you ...
I was not impressed with the product and definitely does not work the way it is demonstrated on videos. The clipping metal is covered with a series of thin threads and does not last long. The clip bends easily and prematurely deploys while rolling the hair if you are not careful. I guess for the price I really can't complain but it's not a product I will use on a regular basis.Maybe if you have thin head of hair it may work well but my hair is on the thick side although very straight so maybe others may feel differently.

I like this bun maker much more than the donut one
I like this bun maker much more than the donut one. I didn’t like how it looks having to wrap around the end of hair with the other kind. The only issue with this one is that it’s not as good on thick long hair. My daughters bun comes out HUGE and it’s very hard to get a hold of because it’s so thick. It took me a few tries but I finally got it to hold and it came out really nice. Hopefully with more practice I can get it done without so much hassle.

Made a great bun for o e daughter
I bought these to do my girls' hair for dance recital. While it took me a few times to get the hang of it, it made a beautiful bun for my oldest daughter. She has thick hair and has some shorter pieces where she has been growing out her bangs My youngest daughter has thinner hair and has long layers and it seemed harder to get hers up and the bun wasn't as perfect. I've even used it on my hair and it is definitely easier to do it to someone else than yourself!

It works, but it is not the best.
This band is really neat and nifty, however it does not work on all hair types or hair weights, there is definitely the need for additional hair support such as bobby pins and hair ties to ensure that the bun stays in place. I used it once for work. I was hoping to use it more, but sometimes it pinches and pulls the hair in odd places. I also have no use for some of the hair colors because I don't plan on going blonde anytime soon.
