Just oddly one day both broke less than two weeks time of receiving them
Usually bf when i bought this same exact torch and company made by the same too they worked very well and no issues at all with any if them all the way to the day that each got stolen from me instead of breaking on me. I had prior bought 4 total of these bf these last two of the same torches and made by same company bought as a set of two deal and within less than 2 weeks time using each of them barely for very long time ir for many usage they both within a few days of each other and within only two weeks time completely broke on me no sign bfhand that either of them were fixing to break or any difference in their performance ignite refueling flame size butane fuel spulage or any weird sounds from either of them after both breaking either. They weren't dropped at all and ever weren't stored in properly or extremely hot or extremely cold temperatures and places either. They just both no apparent reason no signs bfhand one day just stop igniting at all and or even sparking up a little bit inside it's top hole to where the ignition to place within and then came out of and from either and again both only a few days from Each other and after only having and using sometimes through out the day less b than two weeks time they both just broke and stopped working sparking igniting completely no reason no sign bf hand and I have troubleshooted this item here on Amazon and provided for this particular item and torch as available support provided for this exact particular item and torch and after doing the given steps and any possible way to troubleshoot and or fix this item and particular torch as they both still don't work.

Best lighter I ever had / How to repair igniter a year later
I bought these about a year ago. I have had many lighters over the years. These are in first place -- most only last a month or so at best. The cap is an excellent safety feature I don't set my pants on fire. It also keeps the nozzles from getting clogged with lint. The materials are excellent and it is very good looking. Mine have been dropped many times on pavement, no dings, dents, or other damage, just a little chipping of the paint on edges. The flip-out handle for the gas valve is a big improvement over other lighters. You can easily adjust the flame instantly without tools.. If filled per directions and you use it regularly, it lasts about a week if you keep the flame set at about a 3/4". After about a year, the igniter gets sticky and won't click. It is easy to fix in about 8 minutes: HOW TO REPAIR IGNITER when it stops clicking. 1. Get some silicone oil on Amazon. It comes in a small bottle and can be applied via a small tip. Silicone oil is very handy for a lot of things where you don't want the oil being turned into dirty goo. Great for sliding aluminum parts such as telescoping tripods. 2. Rotate valve to the clockwise to the closed position (for safety reasons when testing) 3. Pull the adjuster cap off the bottom. 4. Remove the two phillips screws and remove the black base 5. Slide the cover off the gas container, slide the black cover off the top part. The two grills will fall away and the slide knob will fall off. Note the position of the two grills when you remove them. 6. With the lighter in the vertical position, put a good dose of silicone oil on the top of the igniter post shaft where it goes into the igniter. work the button a few times. add more oil and work it in another couple of times until the oil works down to the bottom of the igniter and it starts working again. 7. Replace the grilles and the slider knob on the housing and slide the black housing back on. Slide the gas container cover back on. 8. Put the black base back on lining it up with the two screw holes. Make sure the brass igniter contact is lined up with the screw hole when you put the base back on. Replace the screws. 9. Push the adjust cap back on so the stop pin on the cap lines up with the limit stop on the housing. If you get it right you will be able to rotate the cap counterclockwise almost a whole turn. Be sure the cap is on properly or it will fall off. 10. Test it and make sure you can regulate the flame from low to high.

Great value. Not perfect, but very good.
I'm still on the original fill and lighter #1 is working fine. However, the first time I tried to adjust the flame height, the dial popped off. It wasn't too difficult to reinstall but it will pop off again. These are super cheap lighters so temper your expectations. I'll be happy if I get six months out of one of them. 1 year update, Feb 5, 2024: these have worked OK but sooner or later they start to leak. Both failed about the same time even though I hadn't used the second one until the first failed at about ten months. Second one failed quickly after being put in service. Now I just give them a quick squirt of butane and don't bother to fill them up because all of it will leak out in a few days. 2.5 year update, 9-10-2025: These are still working well despite some earlier teething pains. I still think they sometimes leak a little but it must not be much since I can use them for months between fills. Must have been operator error. Bottom line is this product is a great value.

Can’t light a cigar without a flame. Trash
Lighters were great and worked well until first or second refill, now won’t even spark a flame. Full of premium (lotus) fuel, igniter sparks and nothing. No flame. Bought them for lighting cigars. Terrible purchase, won’t buy again.

Great Flame
So far they operate great, but the time element will only tell. Just a couple of uses so far and no problems. The flame is easily adjusted, refills fine, and lights easily. Will they last more than a year?

Impressed
These lighters are great. Very I'mpressed with the quality of the lighters. Not often you get two descent lighters for a decent price!
