Amazon Basics Extra Comfort Mint Dental Floss, 40 M, 1 Pack

This dental floss does a good job of cleaning between my teeth without causing irritation. It glides smoothly and removes food particles easily, which helps keep my gums feeling healthy. I like that it’s gentle enough for daily use and doesn’t leave my mouth feeling sore afterward. The container is compact and easy to use, making it convenient to store in the bathroom or take while traveling. On the downside, the floss can occasionally shred when used between very tight teeth, which can be frustrating. Still, for the price and comfort, it’s a reliable floss that I’ll continue using regularly.

Non shredding,does what it’s supposed to do ,fair price ,would purchase again

This floss from Amazon Basics is the ideal replacement for the discontinued Original Glide. Years ago, Oral B (owned by Gillette) bought out Glide floss from the original manufacturers, and for many years I could count on getting this same great floss which Oral B called “Original Glide”. It was the first floss made with Gore Tex (PTFE) and it was the smoothest floss to get between the teeth. Alas, this original product is now discontinued, and has been replaced by a cheap inferior filament floss called “Healthy Gums”…with the word “Glide” now in small letters. This Oral B replacement for the Original Floss not only does NOT glide between the teeth, it sticks and pulls and leads you to worry that it might actually pull out a tooth. Plus, it curls up like a Christmas tree decoration so it’s hard to even maneuver. Fortunately, Amazon Basics makes this wonderful PTFE floss. It’s the best floss you can get nowadays. Doesn’t curl up. Super comfortable sliding between the teeth. Highly recommended. My new staple for daily tooth care.

Currently, this is my favorite floss! It is comparable to the original Glide floss. I have extremely tight teeth and it gets the job done. My only complaint is the floss is slightly on the thinner side and packaging could be better.

Does the job. Doesn’t shred. Dispensers have worked fine so far. . Good value.

I ordered 1 package of Amazon Basics Extra Comfort Mint floss in green container & 1 box of GRIN smooth floss in pink box to try them because I was looking for a substitute for the prior version of Glide that came in a grey container. (I loved the old Glide but Glide changed their formula due to health concerns w/ the coating, & the newer version is not at all like the older version of Glide). **The Amazon Basics that I ordered slides nicely and doesn’t shred or break while using it, but something about the coating makes the floss keep slipping out of my fingers and I have to keep re-looping it to keep a hold of it while flossing, which is REALLY irritating. Other reviewers complained about that, and I didn't really understand until I tried that floss for myself and understood what they meant. (The GRIN floss in the pink box is great and I can’t tell the difference between it and the old Glide that I loved. It slides nicely through my tight teeth, doesn’t break or shred, has a nice price point, and does not slip out of my fingers like the Amazon Basics floss. I also tried an old pack of "Oral B Satin Floss, mint” that I've had for years without trying it until recently--the Oral B Satin is HORRIBLE-- it shreds like crazy in my tight teeth, little strings of it break apart & get stuck in my teeth . **Anyway...before I made the current purchase, I read reviews for several alternative flosses, especially focusing on reviews from other people who were looking for a substitute for the old Glide floss like I was. Options I saw mentioned by others as possibly good substitutes were Equate from Walmart, Gorilla Floss, Grin, Amazon Basics, some standard wax flosses, and some other options that were pretty expensive. (I tried Equate a few years ago and didn't like it nearly as well as Glide. I have not tried Gorilla.) **The Amazon Basics is good enough for me to keep using it until I finish off the package, & is certainly way better than the Oral-B Satin floss, but I DEFINITELY prefer the Grin, and if Grin wasn’t available in future or cost too much, I would shop around for something other than the Amazon Basics floss & maybe try the Equate again because the “slipping-out-of-my-fingers” thing with the Amazon floss is soooo annoying.

These are great. Good flavor not too thick not too thin perfect for flossing. Takes out all the stuff that needs to come out. Definitely recommend.

Inaccurate to advertise as similar to Oral B Glide, decent floss however no where near quality of Glide.
