Portability is great, magnet is weak
Only managed to pick up 5 or 6, 7 at best, and even those required deft manipulation of the stick. Magnet is recessed up into the shaft and too weak to point the stick close to a hull and pick it up. Had to jab the stick into the ground past the hull's base and against it to ensure success. The corded sections and travel back doake it very easy to carry in the gun cart.

Did not pick up all shells
Needs stronger magnet to pick up hulls by primers.

Flimsy and rattles
I thought I'd save a few bucks over a Mojo stick. Can't recommend following my bad example. The fit of the pieces is very loose. As a result the hole stick rattles and bends under its own weight. Not really helpful when trying to aim at some shells on the ground. After one try I packed it up and stashed for the one day I really "need" a portable stick. Went and got myself the solid, non-collapsible Mojo stick and am super happy with that.

Worthless and ineffective!
This product did not function fully as intended. The mediocre magnet is setback at least one inch from the end of the stick. Most shotgun hulls are laying on their side on the ground. The magnet was ineffective at picking up the hulls unless I positioned the stick nearly horizontal and flat to the ground to engage the magnet. And then it might successfully pick up one or two hulls. Weak magnet(s).I do not recommend this product. It needs a redesign of the magnet location. The manufacturer should also eliminate the rubber tip - it’s not needed but a stronger magnet installed clear out to the tip (flush with tip) would solve these problems with this product. I’ve returned this product and hope the manufacturer corrects the design deficiencies.

Solves the Dropped Small Metal Part Issue
Remember Murphy's Law - "Whatever can go wrong will go wrong at the worst possible time"?There is a corollary to this - "Any metal part that falls off of a work bench will immediately roll to the most unreachable point of your immediate area". In our old bicycle shop we had a small magnetic wand at each mechanics station, and I think they were used more than any other tool. I make jewelry as a hobby, and it happens daily to me. Something falls, bounces or rolls, and then I have to get down on my hands and knees, crawl around under my desk, and get attacked by one of the cats that thinks Mommy wants to play. Then find the part - finally - only to bang my head on the way up.So when I came across the HUNTARMOR Pick Stick, I knew it could be destined for more things then picking up spent shotgun casings. It was the answer to my dreams of a longer metal picker-upper.And it is just that. It collapses for storage, comes with a carry bag, but will extend to a 56 inches long magnetic metal parts picker-upper. I have been using it for 3 days, and love it. The magnetic ability is so strong that it will pick up my humongous key ring that has keys that I no longer have any idea what they are used for. And stays securely attached to my work area bench, waiting to save me a trip to my hands and knees for the umpteenth time today for a loose screw or jump ring..The only thing I wish it didn't have was a metal non-magnetized tip on the end. When used you have to kind of angle it to engage the part you want to grab. But once you do, you have it, and it doesn't fall of the stick. At all.Oh - and what's with the Description? Mine is nowhere near 56 ft long!

Great tool with a powerful magnet
Comes with a bag and collapses into 3 pieces and works great! Perfect if you need extra reach compared to your average magnet tool.
