Coloring Book of Shadows: Planner for a Magical 2018 Paperback – August 30, 2017

I have Amy's 2017 BOS planner, and love it, super excited to get this one. Size is perfect, double sided pages, with full month calender, weekly pages, and holiday rituals. I especially like the moon phases on the weekly pages. Plenty to color and lots of space for notes ! You hit this out of the ballpark! I love it!

This is so exactly what I wanted. I'm always on the search for planners and daybooks and calendars that will give me the structure I need and the space that I want. This is the perfect yearly planner for the picky pagan that I am. I love Amy Cesari's artwork. Everything in the book invites you to color or doodle or make notes. I hope she will continue to offer this ever year. Very nice!

I just got it this morning and I LOVE ! LOVE ! LOVE IT ! I can't wait to use it. So excited. Everything is included to keep myself organization and on track. For functionality I wish it was a spiral planner instead of book bound , but that's just my personal preference. Blessings!

I am really loving this Planner. It has good pages for planning, lots of information which is handy for both new and experienced people. I really like the inspiration for each month and Sabbat. I also appreciate the pages for reflection for every month. The pages themselves are quite a nice weight, and hold up well to my ballpoint pens and colored pencils. The only small gripe I have so far is that because it is a bound book, some of the illustrations go right into the binding (and thus are impossible to color all the way), but it is a minor thing. The pages look so great once colored in, I will enjoy having this book to refer back to as a chronicle of my year, once the year is over!

I love the illustrations and suggestions. It is a coloring book, so know that the entire book has the coloring book paper, which is totally ok with me. I did add tabs to each monthly spread for easier navigation, which was no big deal. Aside from maybe tabbed inserts to help mark the months, my only other desire would be national or traditional holidays already printed in the calender on their respective dates, but this isn't really a traditional planner so I can see why that was deliberately left off.I will definitely order 2019 when it's time!

I've gone through tons of different styles of magical planners and almanacs since around 2001. Some I like and some just don't resonate with me whether it's the style of calendar, artwork or the information/stories/spells that are usually thrown in there. I got this one on a whim and I'm so happy I did, although now knowing that there is a spiral bound version I will most definitely be getting that version for 2019 ASAP as I think a spiral bound version will be a little easier to use for coloring. First off I just love Amy's artwork, so much so that I've bought her full on coloring books as well. Once the year is over and you're left with these colored illustrations in your planner rather than waste paper and toss it or let it gather dust on a shelf do what I'm planning on doing and cut them out from the planner and use them in a BOS or Grimoire. Tons of illustrations of crystals/herbs, Sabbats and awesome correspondence wheels. The planner has both monthly and weekly views, both of which have lots of room to put information that YOU want to put in there, also a great page for each month to put down goals, reflections and intentions. Each month has a nicely done spell and months with Sabbats have both a monthly spell and a Sabbat spell or craft.I just can't say enough good things about this planner or the artist. I'd say this though if you're looking for a straight planner and won't bother with the coloring aspect too much then go for the regular bound version (this one). However, if you're like me and you want to get the most out of the planner AND coloring the artwork then I'd have to say go for the spiral bound version. Not having to curl back pages and being able to lay the book flat for coloring is going to be much more comfortable. Love this planner and hope she continues to do them for many years, so excited she's announced one for 2019!

As with the two other books of hers that I have purchased, this is just as fun and full of information. The smaller details are a little hard to color for a person with limited vision (myself) but overall it is a great way to put your own personal touch to things. The paper quality is nice and holds up well with erasing and repeated coloring with colored pencils. I love that there is a month calendar along with the day by day entries as well as spells and rituals for each Sabbat and craft ideas as the year progresses. There is also a lot of space for your personal observations. I am very happy with this book.

I absolutely LOVE this planner. I’ve been adding to it since the second I opened the package. Great space to write info and important things. I love that it has the moon phases and shows void of course times, as I always struggle during the void of course moon. Now I’ll know just by glancing at the planner if that’s what’s going on. My only complaints are that the eclipses are not noted in the planner, and those are very important days to be aware of, and that it is paperback. I have a feeling with the amount of use it’s going to get that it’ll be really beat up by the end of the year. I love the drawings to color and the space to journal and write goals, intentions, etc too!

This is a wonderful planner! There are quick-reference guides to the Wheel of the Year, Moon Phase, Days of the Week etc. The ritual, spells and ideas in this planner are simple, short, and to the point, but profound for all that. I love colouring the pages as I plan and make notes for my magical day, week, month et al. A great pleasure to work through and a wonderful calendar to jot down magical and mundane information. Highly recommend!

Lovely planner but beware UK buyers lunar calendar is American otherwise would have given higher rating.

Really cool book! Bought this for my older sister (33) and she loved it. Remarked on all the readings and charts inside, and how well layed out the diary part is. The illustrations looked really nice and overall it’s a really good size.

Haven't had an in-depth look yet as Christmas present from my husband but had the 2017 one last year which was lovely and this looks to be as good if not better.

Fantastic journal for beginner and experienced witches ,, I absolutley love mine and I've been writing in it since January 1st . I absolutley love all Amy's books and will defiantly but the journal for next year 🌛🌚🌜
