Read reviews for a good silicon to use & wanted to help others out with the foil tape trick to hold it in place while the silicon cures. You can buy "speed tape" or foil tape at WalMart & it has many uses. Clean your tile with alcohol or a nice toxic solvent so that your mating surfaces are clean for adhesion. That's key. I also scuffed the stainless a little with a green scotch pad or sandpaper. It's wise to place your shelf in the midst of a groutline so it has some different depths to adhere to. Silicone it up & dont use so much that's it's gooping out everywhere. Place it & then use foil tape on underside to hold it in place while it cures for 6-8 hours. Leave the tape for 24 hrs & then razor blade off excess. My wife slipped in the shower & grabbed the shelf, it held while she got a large bruise on her leg from the tub. The people claiming it rusts are morons. You'll see rust in areas where a metal object of dissimilar metal metal made contact with it. That's simple galvanic corrosion that you'll nearly always get unless your razor is 24k gold. Still, it wipes away easily if addressed within a week. Great upgrade for a shower without having to remodel for extra space.

We’re happy with our new corner shelves. I didn’t want to drill into our new tile so I mounted the shelves with GE Silicone II. I used duck tape to hold them in place overnight. Turned out great and can easily hold 5 lbs.

The product is an excellent design and was not a problem for my contractor to install. However, after just a couple of weeks use, rust spots started to develop on both shelf units.

these are a nice option for those who dont want a stick-on shelf. if you're drilling in tile, get a small diamond bit like the ones milwaukee sells. dont waste your time on carbide bits or a hammer drill. there is a hardware included that has a setup with chrome plastic caps to hide the screws. i wasnt crazy about those, so i just bought some roundhead stainless screws, and left the heads exposed.

Very nice looking and heavy duty. They come with mounting screws that have caps to cover the screw head. Nice touch.

Nice shelf . I used them in a shower that has no shelving in it . I picked up a good glass / tile drill bit and they were up in no time. They were packaged nice in the box each shelf was in it's own cloth sleeve . I also put a coat of car wax on them for the water spots and to keep them looking good.

Very sturdy and nice looking. Designed well so not to trap water. We have a small walk in shower and it fits with it perfectly.

This is impossible to install with that weak glue... the item is too heavy for glue.. the send some weak ass stickers to help hold it but its pointless
