This clock is easy to read with large digits. I most like the button on the side to dim the light. At night even on the lowest setting, the light was still not dim enough and took some getting used to. But I didn't realize this was actually a magic clock. It took trying one more setting to discover the magic...The dimmer button has a setting that turns off the light of the digits, most useful at night when trying to sleep with the room dark. Lights out, room dark. I thought that setting was useful, but would require manual intervention each morning to set the lights back to a particular brightness...But this clock actually does that step automatically!! Set the light level to the darkest setting, which is lights off. Wake up in the morning and the last brightness level previously set is back on!!As much as I thought I would like the setting to change the brightness, it was still somewhat too bright in the room at night, until I tried that darkness setting. Problem solved. The dark setting is timed to automatically turn the light level back on the next morning. This is a feature worth the price by itself.This clock is the only one I have seen so far with the a large, easy to read display that can be set to turn off that display overnight.This clock performs well while delivering the advertised functionality. It has real value in the display settings, and even displays the day of the week. Easy to set up, this is a good clock to have.Satisfied with this clock after figuring out the settings that were magical when used correctly.Five stars.

Purchased this clock to hang in a work area in a large shop. Employees can see if very well. The time is big and bright. We don't use any features (remote control etc.). I set the date, time, 12hr format and it just sits there and keeps time. Heaven forbid they work a minute past quitting time. LOL. They like the clock. It came with a battery in the remote and I am guessing an extra battery. I can't find where it would go in the clock to be used as a battery backup. The only other thing I should mention is that the clock comes with a USB cable but does NOT come with a charger. You will need a charger to plug the USB cable into if you decide to purchase this clock. I didn't know this and had to scramble to find one to power it up.

I got this for my teenager who is chronically late getting out the door to school. Although it hasn't helped us get out the door any faster, it does help him get out of the shower. We set the alarm and he needs to get out to shut it off. So that's pretty great. It also doubles as a night light because it's so dang bright. The only thing that I don't really like is that it's a plug in. We had to rearrange some things to make an open outlet. Then we have the cord hanging down the wall. But It's mounted nicely and he can see it without his glasses from the shower, which is saying a lot because he can usually only see 2 feet in front of him. This is about 5 feet away.

Accuracy matters

I had this in my office a while and gave it to my wife for her office. I missed it every day and so did my colleagues. She found one that fit her better and I got it back.High visibility is is important and it is that from across the room. Unfortunately, while putting up sheet rock, A brief connection between the sheet and the clock disabled the last digit in the temperature. This rendered the whole thing useless. If I replace, it will be another just like it!The proprietary plug in is an annoyance, but I can't find fault with anything else. Well, maybe make it DIYer proof with inch thick glass. lol

We bought three for our home. And two more for my parents. They are very handy. When setting up, don’t bother with the instructions. They are confusing. We used the remote instead. Press set. Use the + and - buttons to configure each item. Press set to finalize item and move onto the next. Also, these only come with a USB cord. No plug. So we bought plugs that take a USB and they worked perfectly. The temperature is a little off, I think. But it’s close. The main thing we love is seeing the date and time.

nice big display for my garage that is easy to read. the date is a bonus as is the changing colors if you wanted to. i just like how easy it is to read in my garage. it would work great in a gym too.

We like this clock but so far we see two issues, the first issue is with the user manual, the text is extremely small and very hard to read even with the use of magnifier. The instructions are completely useless, we do not understand why the manufacturer did produce this useless user manual for such good clock. We strongly recommend that the manufacturer should post a clear user manual on its website at the very least. The second issue is the automatic brightness function does not seem to work and it is very difficult to figure out how set the brightness to adjust automatically because the user manual, again is very useless. So to us this issue is a deal breaker and are very likely to return the clock back because of it. Finally, this clock shows month number, day number, and day name, but it would be better if the year is also shown. Like I said, nothing is absolutely perfect.
