Cracked our pizza stone
We ordered a metal peel because this one came highly recommended and we wanted to avoid the oils used to treat wooden ones, but the very first time we used this peel, it cracked our pizza stone into six pieces, spilling dough, sauce and cheese (!) all over our hot oven. Perhaps it works better in outdoor grills but it did not work at all for us in an indoor over. (Also, despite flouring it heavily, the peel held onto the dough and made it impossible to slide into over).
