Sounds great and the buffer makes it much more versatile than a standard fuzzface.

This was a close one. Scenario: I'm making my dream board where I have the 8 or so pedals i love the most combined with a UAFX Ruby/Dream, and a Multistomp MS70CDR+. The past few weeks when I have free time I auditioned hundreds of them. I always have the two kinds of fuzz. One fuzzface style. One ramshead style. The 108 is now my favorite fuzzface. it was crazy close though. The AU-79 from Mythos is outstanding and came very close. It's cooler looking for sure. The 108 is easier to use and unfortunately sounds that tiny bit better to my ear. This might be one of the best pedals MXR has ever made. And it's so tiny and great looking. Have one of these. Even if you don't like it now, you will want it later for something you haven't considered yet. Like their Sugar Drive, it's like a grown up version of the thing it's improving. Best Klon by far. This is the best Fuzzface. They give you all the joy of the original circuit, dead quiet, with buffer options. They should offer a stocking stuffer holiday pack with all the outstanding mini pedals they make now.

It's a great little silicon fuzz face with an optional buffer (to give you freedom of placement in your signal chain). If you are looking for a fuzz face, this is a solid option.

This is based on the famous fuzz face and does a great job. In my experience better suited to single coils (especially if you're looking for that Hendrix tone) than humbuckers. Very foxy lady! Also noticeably clears up using the volume control on your guitar, leaving you with a thick tone suitable for blues/rock lead (for when you're not changeling your inner Hendrix). Considering the price of other fuzz face clones - this is a bargain (and takes up minimal space on your board)
