Helly Hansen 62047 Men's Seven J Jacket

I bought this for a job which I spend 7-8 hours outside each day, and during this spring we've had lots of rain. I am a smaller female (5'1", 120lbs), but wanted the mens small jacket so I could layer it with hoodies and so it would be long enough to cover my butt.So far it has worked well in keeping my dry and my under layers dry as well so I stayed warm even in cooler temperatures for long periods of time. The hood has a small lip that helps block water from getting on your face, however I usually wear a hat as well since I have glasses and they tend to stick out a bit. The pockets also stay dry so you don't have to worry about your phone getting wet. It also dries pretty quickly when laid out, which is a nice bonus if you take a break and you don't want to put a soaking wet coat back on.

I am a fan of Helly Hansen jackets since I bought one in Epcot during a chilly, stormy day. This jacket I bought for my son that goes in and out of the rain at work. He loves the jacket. He says it's light weight and keeps the water off of him.

It’s lightweight enough to not drag you down, it’s wind proof & water resistant enough to stay warm & dry in the colder rains. In my opinion better than Marmot.

This is breathable ! Looks good and you stay dry with out sweating. I live in New Orleans so i needed a solid rain jacket to wear in the summer months.

The jacket is very well made. Best rain jacket you can get. Yes sleeves are a little long and is a slim cut. However tithes than Thor sleeves the small fit my 5'5" 115lb son really well with room to grow. Perfect purchase.

Great jacket! - My son wore this jacket in Alaska, everyday for a week. There was all kinds of rain, little bitty stinging rain, big ole fat rain, rain that flew sideways, and rain that came straight up from underneath. My son never once got wet!
