Perfect fit. Perfect fix. Repaired in 1.5 seconds.
I have a 2012 Hyundai Elantra Touring GLS (hatchback). After my brake lights remaining on & draining my battery to the point of ruination, I whittled it down to this seemingly insignificant looking little rubber stopper. Auto parts store sold me the wrong one, spent an hour in the Texas heat trying to make it fit. after screaming the F word multiple times and sweating out half of my body weight, I finally resigned to the fact that this was just not going to fit. So I went on Amazon and I found this level piece. It was here early the next morning. It went in within 1.5 seconds. It’s exactly the perfect fit. It does the job wonderfully. It was so easy to install. The rubber seems to be very durable. And you get so many for such a small amount of money. The one in the auto store, was $11 for one. This has like six in it. Great value, great product. If you are facing the same problem, I was, and you have my car or Hyundai (probably many other manufacturers as well)…this is your answer!

Fits 2011 Hyundai Elantra GLS
The stopper for my brake light switch broke. These fit my 2011 Hyundai Elantra GLS, and functioned properly. Installation was easy; took me under one minute. Worth the money; would've likely cost me several days at the car shop a lot of money in labor.

Works but not exact fit
2015 Hyundai Santa Fe sport here. The pad worked but did not produce a positive click when it went in. It probably will be fine and not going to fall out because of its position on the brake pedal arm but I wish the stem was 1mm longer and the bottom part a little wider. But I understand they tried to make it “universal”.

Works as intended
Just installed one of these a day ago, and worked as it should. Easy to install. I will update as I get some time on it and see how it holds up

Not an exact fit for my 2009 Honda element, rubber nub is smaller diameter than OEM part
Amazon says these work on my 2009 Honda Element. Sort of true, but modification needed. The nub that goes into the hole in the brake pedal is too small to be a press fit as intended. Apparently smaller diameter than the OEM part. It fits the hole but has no friction keeping it secure. It stays in place from the pressure of the brake light switch against the pd portion of the item, but could easily fall out with a full travel push on the brakes. I ran a small twist tie through the slot in the nub and tied it off to the brake pedal arm, which should keep it from falling out.
