Yes , certainly it is. The skate board is friendly for teens. The skateboard uses classic 7layers Canadian maple , provide great balancing for us, this is good for teens.And maximum load weight up to 400 pounds.I am an adult. It can bear my weight well.

This is good for kids ages 6-12. I recommend it for your kids.Our 10 year old wanted a skate board but we didn't want to pony up the dough for a $150 skate board from others.Especially since we weren't sure if she was going to stick with it. This was a great alternative. Great price. And beginner friendly. She absolutely loves it. Practiced a full day and got the hang of it quick. The way it was explained to us, the faster the spin the better for beginners and cruising. And the slower the spin the better for tricks and more advanced techniques.
