This product is filled with a sugar called Allulose. The Amazon listing title claims it's "sugar free", which is false. Research demonstrates that while the body does not utilize Allulose for energy, the bacteria overgrowth in your small intestine may. If you are trying to stay low-sugar for bacterial related autoimmine problems or for SIBO, avoid this syrup and look for ChocZero or Lakanto brands, which are actually sugar free. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best sugar substitute *by C***M on Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2019* I am extremely sensitive to artificial sugars and aspartame in particular makes me feel really weird..... I was hesitant to try this but I’m glad I finally did. It gave me no bad reactions and no bloating or acid reflux issues. It also taste really good!!!! I think the aftertaste some people are talking about is more from the maple syrup flavoring...cus it’s the same taste I remember from a high quality pure maple syrup and it’s really not bad.
