This nutcracker is so nice. It works well with all sizes of pecans we have here in Alabama. The parts all move and it is easy to clean. I even purchased one for my sister.

This nutcracker is designed well and cracks small almond nut as well as big walnuts equally well thanks to its adjustable design. The only complaint I have is that the cracking arm slides out of socket every so often

I have two pecan trees and last year, my old nut cracker broke and could not be repaired. This looked similar so I got it to crack all my pecans. It worked well after I figured out how much force to use so that I didn't completely obliterate the pecan. It's easy to adjust the size between pecans. The handle is sturdy and easy to use. The only problem is that the rear holder comes out of the track and is a little difficult to get back in place. I tried to remember not to let the handle fall back after cracking the pecan because that's when the rear holder would come out. It works, but my old one had that piece made in so that it couldn't come out. I wish this one did as well.

Purchased for my parents

The nutcracker works very well but when the nut cracks the shell flies off in every direction, sometimes halfway across the room. I think it would have been fairly simple to design a hinged cover to keep shell fragments from becoming shrapnel.

Although this item looked pretty rugged, it's not for really tough nuts like black walnuts. It worked okay for the first 5 or 6 and then the handle snapped off at the threaded end. I'm happy to be an Amazon Prime member and can easily return it.Something that made me cringe - there is a saying on the box, "with god all things are possible". the company might want to rethink their marketing strategy. Maybe post a warning that the product is not made for black walnuts...just a thought.
