Goal Zero Switch 10 Core Multi-Tool Kit, 10Wh Recharger with Fan and Flashlight Tools

I have to mention that I love goal zero products, they make some of the most durable outdoor equipment on the market. I bought this as a replacement for the previous version of the switch ten after it was lost on a camp outing. This new version does have a nice color to it I must admit but they failed to mention in the description that this new version now offers- Less battery capacity- An irremovable battery- No more built in lightI own 3 goal zero 18650 batteries for the purpose of switching them out with the switch 10 and lighthouse mini and now they're completely useless with this product. What a waste. This is now essentially just an oversized lithium ion battery, and for the capacity, there are much sleeker and more affordable options. Don't waste your money here.

Ordered this item for a camping trip. Used a 20 watt solar panel to charge it took about 3 hours. Now whenever I charge my cell phone the battery gets very hot almost too hot to touch. I can get about 25% charge on a galaxy s9 which is disappointing, the flashlight accessory and fan are a nice addition but they only run for about 1 hour before needing a recharge. I ended up using another companies power bank to power my electronics and fan this charger came with.

The built quality of switch 10 is good but the negative side to it is that you can not replace the 18650 battery inside, it’s sealed..If only they could give an option to replace the battery inside then I don’t have to worry about carrying another powerbank just have a few 18650 batteries that can go in there and also use the same batteries for other accessories like headlamp and flashlights..The fan is great with a gooseneck cable and the flash light is good to have!!

I have a few goal zero products and I liked their stuff but this one is a disappointment!! Fell apart after 2 uses. I do not recommend the charger but the accessories can be used with other power banks.

it works for fan and light but as a charger Not so much. I have a cheaper power bank that charges my phone twice this barely charges it 16%

I was not sure about getting this but I really used it in the summer and even when not hiking. The fan I used many times just sitting on my porch because the fan is really effecient when needed. The flashlight is also very good.

This is super cool. The accessories that came with it are super delicate. They were most definitely not designed to be put in a backpack.

Not with the premium price for limited functionality and availability.

an other great kit of goal zero but here the lithium battery is a 2600ma type of the lithium 18650 famlily and the 3500ma ones are easy to find since many years.. so why we cannot to change the batt for a more recent one (more able to take more charge)? ..or it’s (as Apple) a way to consume more, no?

Had to return my first one as it wouldnt hold a charge. Second one works, but dissapointed it cant even fully charge my phone from dead. The battery is rugged and looks great, function leaves a bit to be desired.

Didnt work much smaller then expected. If they can improve quality it would be a good pocket charger as it's small and round.
