So my kids like to bump into the vacuum where it hangs. The original dyson one broke. I replaced it with this one and it seems to work just as good and be just as sturdy and strong. We'll see how long it lasts.

Exactly as described. I purchased this after losing the original part. This functions the same as the one I received for my Dyson v15. It came with screws to use so you wouldn't have to get a separate set. It fits on the same mounts as the one for OEM. Well worth it if you need a replacement.

If you broke your Dyson bracket , this is a perfect replacement and no issues hooking it up with the vacuum , high recommend if your breaks.

We charge our vacuum in the laundry, but use it most in the kitchen. Works perfectly for us.

The holder fits the Dyson V11 with charging cable. I don't know how this compares to the Dyson brand holder. The whole assembly feels a bit flimsy but it works just fine. The vacuum aligns to the charger connector when placed in the holder.The major problem was the hardware seemed low quality. The screws provided maybe we're not meant to be drilled directly into wood. Both screws had their heads shear off during installation. I had to remove the exposed shank with pliers. That was after drilling a pilot hole and using a moderate torque setting on a drill. Consider a generous pilot hole and screwing in by hand because the screws did not handle a drill well. Or purchase other hardware, which is what I did.
