G502 X PLUS Lightspeed Wireless RGB Gaming mouse

As a G502 user of 10 years, I was pretty dubious approaching the redesign. The G502 is the best mouse I've ever used and this new version has some big shoes to fill. First thing I noticed is the refined shape and the new pattern on the side grips. It's a lot more comfortable and hopefully more durable. The grips wearing off is one of the first issues I experienced with my previous G502 so here's to hoping. I do really enjoy the fact the thumb button now stretches back (can swap this to old style if needed) as it's a lot easier to press. The only button I found harder to press was the back button at the side which has moved a little. I can no longer push my thumb up as easily to trigger that. Not a big issue, but I did notice it. The Hero sensor seems great. It's incredible precise and accurate, had no issues at all there. The wireless seems to be latency free and the battery life with RGB enabled is several days at least. Extra kudos here for Logitech FINALLY moving to USB C. Took far too long but at least it's done now. The RGB strip is also a nice improvement and very customisable in G Hub with patterns and colours. Easy to match to my rigs RGB. One difference I did notice is that the clicks are quite loud, and the left and right clicks sound distinct from one another. This isn't an issue for me but if you're very sensitive to noise I'd watch out for that. I think they feel great in use though. I assume the sound difference is design related. Overall this is just an improvement overall to the previous G502. Would happily recommend.

Very lightweight, extremely durable (I've dropped it many times, including from 3 feet off the ground onto a hardwood floor and there is not a single problem. Best gaming mouse, especially with the value for money. Great battery life and the tracking is spot on. Oh and it looks cool :)

I ended up returning this mouse due to personal preference. Even though it was returned I cannot fault the quality and beauty of this mouse! The RGB is smooth and not tacky. The mouse is accurate and can be comfy if you have the correct grip and is suitable for generally larger than average hands. The Logitech software also works well which seems to be a problem with most other brands. The whole product is just beautiful and feels incredible. The reasons I returned it are personal preference, I found it to be just a little on the heavy side for FPS gaming, and with the way I hold my mice ( cross between claw and palm) I found it uncomfortable for extended usage.

Great upgrade from my g502 hero. Feels a bit more premium some how! Battery life is great and is as sleek as you'd expect. G hub can be a pain sometimes, but I never messed around with it, and I'm reviewing the mouse, not it's software.

If you like mechanical keyboard sounds, you will like the clicking of this mouse. • Ergonomics: I found that it took a few days for my hand and wrist to get used to this shape coming from the G903 Lightspeed, despite having previously used the original G502 and G602, but after some getting used to, it's great. The scrollwheel's snapping toggle between free-scrolling and notch-based scrolling is also fantastic, and the button feels pleasing to press. • Performance: Especially when RGB lighting is disabled the G502 lasts for days on end. I keep the lighting on, and use it for 8 hours+ per day including working hours - I find that I need to charge it every few days, which is perfectly fine. I plan to invest in a POWERPLAY mouse mat. • RGB: The lighting is bright, responsive, and with plenty of customisation. Cons: • No included Weight Customization: One drawback is the absence of additional weights to customize the mouse's heaviness, limiting user preferences. This is odd, because the battery cover clearly has room for Logitech's weights. If you have a G903 like I do, then the weights from that will fit in this one! It's just a shame Logitech chose not to include any. • Storage Compartments: The dongle rattles when placed inside the mouse, which feels a bit cheap - though this is nitpicky. The mouse also lacks dedicated compartment for for the extra included button, which may inconvenience users who prefer keeping all components together. Again, this is a bit nitpicky.

Love this mouse the only thing I was mythd with i bought it off of amazon resale and it stated it comes with all original parts but it makes you wonder do amazon check as parts were missing so i contacted amazon and I take my hat off to them as they refunded me for the inconvenience and said I could keep the mouse if that's not great customer service I dont know what is , and this mouse has so many features its great I like the grip the lighting is ok as not really a fan of rgb but that's just me ,I like the customisation in the ghub app and how you can set different gaming profiles so if you see it on sale go for it ,

I use this for gaming and video editing, and I have not had a single bit of fatigue from using it. I have large hands and it suits me perfectly. I wouldn't be the best gamer, so I am likely not pushing this mouse to its max, but for what I need it for it's sharp and effective. The software is easy to use. The lights match up to my keyboard and all clicks are registered. The battery lasts way longer than I even thought it could and I use it a lot. I'm delighted. I know you will be too.

Had a G502 wired then a G502 wireless and loved them both. I still use the wired version with my laptop. Moved onto this mouse, due to a dying mouse button on my wireless G502. This new mouse feels the same (but lighter than my old G502 wired and wireless ones), the buttons feel better due to the different switches used and slight tweeks to the design. Just feels like replacing your favourite old slippers with new ones that are the same. Just as comfortable but slightly different. One downside, no weights to add to change it's weight. But soon got used to it after a few sessions in various FPS shooters. But if you prefer a weighty mouse, you may be disappointed. Beware though, it won't make you a shooting god if you wasn't already one, sadly. 😉 Not the mouse fault (I think) but even after various updates to the GHub software, which controls the RGB on the mouse, I've found that it can be a little temperamental. I never had/have this issue with the previous two 502's I've owned. But, as I said, this may not be the mouse's fault, as my keyboard also has its moments with its lighting. Even with the temperamental RGB at times I L still love it anyway!

Dopo aver utilizzato il Logitech G502 X PLUS, posso dire che si tratta di un mouse gaming wireless di fascia alta, pensato per chi vuole prestazioni elevate senza compromessi. Fin dal primo utilizzo si percepisce la qualità costruttiva e l’attenzione ai dettagli tipica dei prodotti Logitech. Dal punto di vista tecnico, il sensore HERO 25K offre una precisione eccellente e un tracciamento sempre stabile, anche durante movimenti rapidi. Nei giochi competitivi, soprattutto FPS, la risposta è immediata e non ho mai notato ritardi o perdite di segnale grazie alla tecnologia LIGHTSPEED wireless, paragonabile a una connessione cablata. Il clic è deciso e preciso, ideale per lunghe sessioni di gioco. I numerosi tasti programmabili permettono una personalizzazione completa tramite il software Logitech G HUB, utile sia nel gaming che nell’uso quotidiano, inoltre la rotella a scorrimento è affidabile e duratura, cosa che con altri mouse che ho avuto iniziavano a dare qualche segno di cedimento dopo qualche mese di utilizzo.
