No more grass in the face.
My old discharge chute broke off and I had grass flying all into my face. With this new discharge chute, the lawn mower shoots the grass in my intended direction of where I want the grass clippings to go, and not all over my face.

Complete crap and a waste of money.
Would leave no stars. Part did not fit properly. And is also extremely fragile. First bump while mowing and it shattered.

Difficult to install but that is the design from Craftsmen not this product.
It worked as expected but you've got to be really good with your hands and creative in tool selection to get it installed.

Works but will break, cheap plastic.
Installed somewhat ok needed it was a bit tight but matched the original mostly but as for the quality of it well... It does discharge out of the side like it should but my very first mow the entire end of it cracked and by the time I got to my 4th mow the end of it has completely flown off into the lawn. If you want a cheap fix fast this works but it will not last the durability on this as abismal

this was easy to install and works great on my old 42in cut deck very pleased

Not worth the $
Fit as it should… was made of hard plastic and was not very flexible or durable. Broke first time I mowed with it stick or rock shattered it
