Great for Traveling
I have had this basket for a couple of months now and it has withheld pretty well. I have loaded up the basket for a couple of trips and have had no issues. Occasionally, a low noise will happen but I believe its depending on which way the wind is hitting the front of the basket. It was not hard to set up but it is a little heavy. It is pretty sturdy and I have received a lot of compliments on it. I have a 2019 Rav 4 and it sits nicely on the top. The net it comes with also is amazing. It holds down my items pretty well with little to no movement.

Fantastic Roof Rack! Simple to Assemble and Well Built
I have wanted a rack for the top of my Jeep for some time now and necessity being the mother of Amazon purchases: I ordered and just received my WILDROAD Roof Rack Cargo Basket, Upgraded 4” Fence Car Roof Basket with Extension, 64"x 39"x 4" version today, and I couldn’t be more impressed! The entire experience, from unboxing to assembly, was a breeze. It took me only about ten minutes to put the rack together, and everything fit together seamlessly; I laid out the four sections, brought the middle section together with an effortless fit. Then brought the front and the rear sections to the middle section - no effort, no forced alignment - it simply all fit together. The holes lined up perfectly, and the supplied screws were more than enough—one extra included, which is always a nice touch. The assembly process was incredibly straightforward and could easily be completed by one person in under 15 minutes. Because there was no struggle with fitting parts or needing any adjustments, it was a hassle-free experience. I have to admit, I didn’t take any photos of the assembly because it went together so quickly that I didn’t even think to grab my camera before I was finished!Once assembled, the rack looks amazing—streamlined, sturdy, and sleek. It’s a solid, well-built piece of equipment that feels like it’ll stand the test of time, and it really adds a great look to my vehicle. When it stops snowing I'll see about a picture of it on the Jeep.A quick note on the scuffs mentioned in other reviews: Yes, there were some very minor scuffs on mine as well, but they do not expose any bare metal, and most of them came off with just a quick wipe from a cloth. These types of marks are typical with shipping and handling, and I honestly don’t think they detract from the overall quality of the product. If you’re expecting perfect cosmetic condition, you might be disappointed, but if you’re after a well-built, functional, and great-looking rack, you won’t regret it.In summary, I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase. The WILDROAD Roof Rack is easy to assemble, looks fantastic, and is clearly built to last. Thank you WILDROAD for making my roads a little less wild. (Okay I'm sorry.. it was just there... I digress) Five Stars Plus! Highly recommended!

Good but not great.
Mounted this 84x50 on a GMT400 Suburban's factory roof rack. Assembly and installation was easy and straightforward. I don't know if other similar racks do, but this one included some black goop (RTV-like stuff) that goes between joints and is supposed to stop rust & corrosion. That is a common complaint about these type of racks, so I'll be interested to see if it helps. Despite being 84" long, this rack only includes two pair of mounting cleats - it makes sense since most folks only have two crossbars, but a side effect of the length of the rack with only two supports is that it sags pretty dramatically even with minimal weight on it. I doubt this is a problem per se, but it does annoy me as there are several ways this could be built or installed to eliminate that sagging for very little money. I'd say this is overall another case of "you get what you pay for" - there are much sturdier solutions for 4x the cash, and this is an ok product for the price. I'll make the modifications to improve its rigidity myself.

Great rack!
We love this rack and bag. We do van builds and always put a rack on them. We attach 270 awning to the rack. We've done 2 builds and love these racks! You can get on top of the van and walk around with no issues. We like the bag also, helps keep things dry.

GREAT RACK FOR THE PRICE! You Cannot Wrong
I took this baby for a two week ride from North Carolina to Georgia, then to Orlando, Florida and all around Florida. And believe me it rained all the time while I was on the tour. I was in the Military before as a paratrooper, were they taught us in taking care of the gear and equipment. First, I took some time to assemble the rack, since it did not have no instructions. But if you have some good common sense, it a great rack for the price. . I have a tank for a SUV (Chevy Tahoe 2022) and the large one covered very well. But I did not need it that late, so I decided to do not use the extension that comes with it. Another thing, you need to use 3 Roof RackCross Bars Luggage Rail Carrier. That is if you are going to place lots of weight on top. It is a most!!! I use to pack Mortars to be dropped from an aircraft, I know what I am telling you. I did used only two, and I have to redistribute the load, because the frame was sagging a little, but with there crossed bars, it will be a cakewalk. This rack comes with a little/small tube of what it looks like an Anti-seize compound. I did took my time and placed it all around the welded joints, any place that it was a tube touching another, in the connections, and on the screw holes. Then I took the mighty can of WD-40 Lube and went downtown with it. Let it sit overnight, and in the morning cleaned the excess. My boy its a Transportation officer with over 22 years in the military and he was in this family tour, and he was very impressed. That I bought him one set and he took it back to Germany with him. Again, this is a Great Rack for occasional tours if you take care of it, then store it back. Cannot tell you if it last long. But for a short turn around and store it back, then use it again. Its bargain. One other thing that forgot to cover... you will need 4 more of the Amazon Basics 15-Feet Ratchet Tie Downs. Is a Most. The kit comes only with 3 ratchet Tie Down Straps. They are good to tie down from front to back, but you will not have nothing from Side-to-Side. That's all my friends, hope this helps you much. Rob Out... GY6
