Yale access app does not work with the Linus smart lock installed in the US
I could not get the Linus smart lock to pair with the Yale access app in my iPhone.The support info in the Yale websites are confusing. The UK team suggested that that I have to use the Yale home app which is restricted to UK region. However, iphone setting would not allow us to change region due to payment method not available in the UK region.Then, I found a link suggesting to use gateman app and that did not help because it would not support US installation. Then, I tried the august app, it found other locks and suggested me to remove the batteries in those locks. I gave up at this point.The stupid thing is that all the apps (access, gateman, august) are the same software because the app gui to setup the smart lock are identical.I actually tried 2 Linus smart locks and no luck.I need to return all the items.The yale support for this UK lock in the US is lousy.The documentation for troubleshooting is inadequate.It is a big waste of time and resources. I spend months to search and research for a smart lock for the euro cylinder lock. I thought I found a perfect setup and was skeptical on the HW side of setup. the lock HW was perfect and nicely designed. However, the software is quite mess up.For the US customers, buyers beware!One star rating is too good for my review

Doesn't work in the USA
The app needed to use the cylinder is not available in the USA, only available in the UK, something the seller should inform customers prior to purchasing. Tried contacting Yale for further info and they said to contact the UK office which said they cannot do anything
