All my 4 cats enjoyed the chicken. Easy to sprinkle on top although it can be hard/slow to dissolve in water.Chicken was preferred over beef. 1/4 cats was picky about the beef broth flavor, if it wasn't mixed in well. Also the beef smells strongly.

I use boiling water, then let it cool before serving. Fully Human grade product, which is very important to me- I won’t give pet grade products to my dogs. It is specifically left as just one ingredient for pets. (It’s important to use a bone broth product which is devoid of any onions or spices, as these can cause serious health problems in dogs).Kenji loves this product, and will often finish his meal once this bone broth is added.He is eight years old, and has been dealing with lifelong digestive issues. His blood work showed low phosphorus, even after being on high quality food, a balanced Veterinarian supplied vitamin, plus adding four phosphorus tablets daily for several months.His Veterinarian recommended adding one cup of bone broth daily to his diet. As a 36 pound dog, he gets the recommended one level tablespoon. I researched and found that the chicken bone broth has 3x as much phosphorus compared to the beef, so I went exclusively to the chicken version. Bone broth is also known to be excellent for digestion, joint support, and immune function.His recent blood work showed he is finally in the normal range! Yay!!Highly recommend!

Must be mixed in shaker. Very potent. Made my cat sick. But will try again by reducing powder to water ratio.Update: My mistake; it was something else that caused my cat to vomit. I tried the powder again, using less powder than recommended. Car loved it. I mixed in a shaker bottle, using 1 T for 12 oz of hot water. Made a nice broth that I mixed with my cats kibble. She lapped it all up before even touching her food. I initially began using broth to help fill her tummy while reducing amount of kibble (vet recommended weight loss). My apologies to the manufacturer for inaccurately assuming it was their product that caused my cat to vomit. It’s actually a wonderful product, and very affordable in contrast to buying cartons of chicken broth. It’s also nearly impossible to find carton broths that do not have added onions and garlic - both no-nos for cats. Highly recommend!

Very good. My dogs like the flavor and eagerly eat when the broth is added. It is difficult to mix with water; however I have just been sprinkling the powder on their dry food and adding a small amount of water. It doesn’t dissolve but they eat it anyway.

All of my cats [8 outside hunters] will readily eat their dry food with this added to it whereas the other brand I had previously purchased that contained sunflower lecithin they did not like. Glad I could find beef bone powder without any added ingredients to increase their protein content especially during the winter months when mice, birds, gophers, etc. are not as available to them. For the eight cats I add 1/2 tablespoon to their 3-4 cups of dry food which I give them in 2 servings. My cats range in ages from 9-13 years of age, all fixed and healthy. There is no strong odor and is a fine powder. The price is decent because this one container should last for a little over three months' time which will give me enough time to see how well it works.

I first tried mixing this with very hot tap water, but the powder just formed big clumps and would not dissolve even after I gave up whisking and let it sit for a few hours. Next I tried cold water because I remembered seeing in the reviews that someone said it was easier to mix into cold water. Nope, same results. So then I read the directions (and at this point I’m still thinking it’s user error because I was just winging it and not following instructions). So I boiled water and when I started pouring the powder in a little at a time hoping it wouldn’t clump, it started foaming up. I’m thinking no big deal, lots of reviews mentioned it foams. Then it pretty much exploded. Boiling hot water and chunks of clumped powder pretty much exploded out of the top of the bowl. You know when you add Mentos to Diet Coke and it makes a geyser? Yeah, that’s what it did. Water and clumps everywhere. I’m still finding dried little clumps stuck on like cement that have to be pried/scraped off with something more than a fingernail. I don’t know what is in this bottle but good luck mixing it into water to make broth. It’s hydrophobic in a serious way. I’m burnt, defeated and used up most of the container…but hey there was some that mixed in after the explosion and my dog liked it, so that’s something I guess. Off to find some broth that’s not hazardous to my health.

Use for dogs and they love it.

My cat hated it. Now, she is very persnickety (she's 17 years old) but I really thought she would love it. She drank one serving and the next time turned her nose up at it.It really smells good and I think if you don't have a finnicky animal, they would probably like it.
