Brought this air pump to replace an older battery one that broke and I’m so glad I forked out some extra cash for this. I brought the 10W as I plan to have the pump set up for my 240L tank but just tested it out in my 60L with airline & a bubble bar / wall. I mean…JUST LOOK at how beautiful and powerful the bubbles are at max speed! 😍 it really is ultra silent. It’s soooo quiet the only thing I can hear is the bubbles being made in the tank and it’s so peaceful! ☺️ Highly reccomend this over cheaper products that don’t let out a lot of air / power or break within a week. Buy thissss!!!! You won’t regret it!!

After trial and error, reviews apon reviews and buying cheaper units to only have them returned and or put aside as spares. I stumbled apon this piece of kit only to hesitate at first. Noticing from its images it looked promising but with its more expensive tag- compared to other models that "claimed" to be silent and powerful and that of the U.S. plug image in its description, i was not sure i wanted to commit. Though despite this, i decided to buy. With a swift click and delivery i was pleasantly relieved and definitely happy as it is supplied with a U.K standard plug. I chanced my luck and it was not a worthless shot, its by far the better model of air pumps out their. The box like, bigger than a hand bulky build is unique and remarkably stylish for its size and shape. The thicker casing reduces the resonating blare of the motor and Its suction cup base and rubber legs surpass other models as they are incredibly robust; stopping any movements and vibrations that cause that rattling carnage of sound. The two outlets are placed at the back and out of sight allowing it to be positioned in a more uncomplicated and modish setting. The radio style rotary dial for air intake is ideal showcasing it to be user friendly that controls the air flow perfectly. The only short back, is the cord for the plug is at the front of the unit but with one small flaw, this retro yet modern pump lives up to its silent and powerful name. It is most definitely far superior to the majority of pumps on the market and worth that extra spending cap for something that is going to last longer as well as providing a brilliant and non problematic service for a fish hobbiest while not being an eye sore.

If you have multiple aquariums, this is the ideal pump. It's very quiet; the only noticeable sound comes from bubbles. It's also very powerful. I have mine driving 8 filters with ease & I'd guess it could cope with 9, or maybe even 10.

More expensive than many of the items on sale - so how does one choose? I personally rely on customer reviews offered (I hope) with honesty and integrity. I still generally trust in people's honesty and perhaps I took a small risk with this item. After reading the customer reviews, I chose this item and my husband set it up (we were given a large 105 L globe fish tank). This pump has proven to be excellent. We have not wasted a penny on this item. For a start, it is sturdy, quiet and the turn able knob is just brilliant for adjusting the bubbles I also bought a flat bubble stone and filter and they all work together; the tank water is clear and the fish seem to be enlivened and playful when we turn up the bubbles - they are a pleasure to watch. This pump is definitely worth the extra cost. I would recommend.

Seems decent, got 4 sponge filters working from it (hope to get 6) and it's fairly quiet.
