typecase Touch Keyboard Case for iPad Air 11/Pro 11 Gen 1-4, 360° Rotating

This keyboard is very easy and intuitive to set up and use. It has a QWERTY layout, but when I first installed it, the keys were working as AZERTY when I typed. Fortunately, I was able to change this very easily in my iPad’s settings and adapt it for both French and English. The battery life is really impressive. I’ve been using it for 4 days since I unboxed it, and I still haven’t had to charge it once! The design is very nice and elegant. It does add a little weight to the iPad when the tablet is attached, but it’s still reasonable and easy to handle. It’s very practical for everyday use and makes my iPad Air 5 feel much more like a small laptop. The delivery was fast and the package arrived in perfect condition. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it!

update 1 yr: nothing changed, except the color is wearing off in a few spots (corners) due to rubbing against stuff. nothing major. still 110% functional. charge still lasts a whole day. have gotten used to the smaller keyboard. no regrets purchasing this - i actually rarely bring my MBP15 Unibody to rehearsals anymore. (yeah, it’s showing signs of needing replacement). btw, i DID have a drop test, from a bench onto a cement floor. stood up to the stress, but i am NOT planning on a repeat. original review: $69.99 USD, free shipping, 5 days delivery I got this a week ago mainly for protection of the iPad and to get a keyboard and trackpad, as i hate the screen soft key pads. i havenʻt tested the protection yet, and donʻt plan on doing one. The material feels like plastic, with rounded corners that should help diffuse some shock from falling. Itʻs clearly not going to provide any level of water resistance or waterproofing. For use in an office, home, or reasonably protected outdoors, however, it should be more than adequate. As far as protecting the screen, there are a pair of small silicone bumpers set into the palm rest portion of the keyboard, which prevents the screen from touching the keys when the case is closed. Because of the hinge design, the screen portion of the case can rotate when it is closed, if you try to rotate it. However, i think you really need to try to rotate it, otherwise it stays in place. The pencil loop fits the Apple Pencil 1st generation VERY snugly. If you add a sleeve to the pencil, it will o longer fit; itʻs just that snug a fit. The keys definitely feel different from the MacBook Pro Unibody (yeah, old school), but iʻm getting used to it. My speed is mainly affected by the smaller keyboard size, but that is simply unavoidable for an iPad. The trackpad seems to work adequately. It doesnʻt match the MacBook Proʻs trackpad click sensitivity, requiring much more depth of travel and pressure, so click-and-drag is not as easy or convenient, but it still works. iPadʻs trackpad implementation is different from my MBPʻs so there are some disappointments as far as trackpad gestures (tap-to-click is not available, nor is four-finger swipe), but thatʻs not on this case/trackpad - itʻs about Appleʻs iPad implementation. I get a full day of word processing and internet access (not streaming, but accessing research documents and books) from the case/keyboard/trackpad, and recharge it overnight. so far absolutely reliable battery. I did end up getting a soft sleeve for this, and feel like it is now protected very well not only when in use, but also when in transport. i would buy this again if i needed to, except that i found a very similar model on Amazon for approximately $25 less. That is a huge difference, and i wish i had seen that before purchasing this one.

One of the best features of this case is that the keyboard can be rotated behind the screen, allowing you to use the iPad as a tablet without having the keyboard in front of you. When you do want to type, the keyboard is responsive and large enough to feel comfortable. The trackpad is also surprisingly good. Although the casing is plastic, it feels much like the casing on a Dell laptop—solid, attractive, and more premium than expected. The screen remains stable at different viewing angles, and overall, this is easily one of the most adjustable iPad cases I’ve seen. It also connected to my iPad immediately, with no hassle. I don’t write reviews very often, but this was money well spent. I’m not sure what more could be improved. I owned an earlier version of this case for about six years, and it held up beautifully. The deep blue color is also very attractive.

Nice product. The case feels solid and durable and it works really well. The keyboard is nice with no lag, the trackpad is a little iffy. The backlight is cute and they include a list of shortcuts which is also really nice. Super easy to use and set up. My only issue is that it’s pretty hard to open and turn the “screen” part around. definitely requires two hands. Closing it too fast makes me nervous as well cuz it’ll slam down pretty hard. Other than that I like this product and I think the price is worth it!!

I searched high and low for the best keyboard with a trackpad and this is it. It feels like i have a macbook now! Backlit keys are awesome. Long battery life. Great adjustability. The only small downsides would be that it can be top heavy being used as a laptop, and if you want to play games with the keyboard, its not great at registering key presses and trackpad simultaneously

My friend purchased this keyboard but for her iPad mini. I had to have so I purehed the typecase Touch Keyboard for my iPad Pro 11 inch and it was a perfect fit. And It was delivered the next day June 13. It’s only been only a week and I love this keyboard with track pad case, It has turned my iPad Pro into a computer. The key is easy to attach to iPad easy to pair 5 min and I was up and typing. The keyboard have a nice touch and are the size of a regular size keyboard. It’s study and appears to made to last and protect my iPad Pro. The cost is well worth the purchase. Now to the cons the the shortcut pamphlet that comes with the typecase keyboard Touch is so obsolete. Very few of the shortcuts work on my keyboard case. For I had to call the number on back of the case to find out how to turn the track pad off because my palm kept touching the track pad as I typed,and he also many of the keys in the pamphlet, the typecase keyboard Touch doesn’t have. not a game changer. FYI: Typecase sellers it would be nice if you update your Shortcut pamphlets and make the keys on the pamphlet so hey can be read. Also for future reference of the new and updated keyb case would you plans put 2 legs on the back of the case to prop the case up while typing. Still not a game changer. I’ve been on this keyboard since it arrived. I have no regrets on his purchase so far and I will keep this review updated. UPDATE: the pencil holder doesn’t hold the Apple Pencil anymore. The piece of fabric attached to the case that’s holds the pencil became stretch out of shape and too big for the pencil so I had to purchase a pencil case.

As much as I love this keyboard, I'm afraid I have to rate it only 3 stars because 7 months after purchasing it the battery no longer lasts a full day.

I have had this for about 1 1/2 years. It works very well and I love it. However, about 2-3 months ago I noticed that the left side of the keyboard has developed a crack in it. It still functions fine but I don't know for how much longer. Also, the pen holder has stretched out some so that if I hold the tablet on it's side and the pen is facing down, it slides right out of the holder. I feel that for the price, I wish it was made of better quality.

I chose black, expected it to be little bit better and felt like a wrong purchase.

Very happy, typing so much easier and it looks fantastic. My daughter got one for school and now her friends want one too! It fit perfectly for our iPad 7th gen and will fit the 8th gen when we need to upgrade. Beautiful sleek design and love the colours! Easy to sync with keyboard and haven’t had any issues so far and love how the screen can be turned to suit the task at hand.

So far very happy with this purchase. Very good quality keyboard case and all features, so far cannot fault anything. Only one improvement could have made it slightly better, if the holder for the Apple pencil, was inbuilt, allowing the pencil to charge, but having said that, at least the external holder does hold the pencil quite firm at least.
