Great iron, despite the higher price, compared to other irons
The info booklet is not in English, so you have to use the images only. It's in EVERY other language. It takes longer then expected to warm up but it's great at ironing all materials. I went from cotton to wool to silk and there were no issues. It's larger then expected but that means you iron more material in one stop pass. The cable is a good length, unlike any previous iron. A good weight, so that helps remove creases. It currently costs £5 less than I paid a week before, and the price I paid was best on the Internet at that time. I do HIGHLY recommend it. Hopefully it'll last a long time, thanks to the long guarantee. I now don't dread ironing.

Amazing Iron
Why on earth did I wait so long to get one of these irons. It’s a dream, no altering settings for different materials it very cleverly works it out. NEVER BURNS any clothing and it’s quite powerful. Takes lots of water and needs topping up but that’s a small issue compared to performance. Ironing done in such a short time compared to my old iron. Such great value as it saves time, not too heavy and is easy to use. Switches itself off after about 8 minutes of non use, brilliant.

Great iron but takes time for the steam function to activate
Been a lifelong fan on Philips irons, this one makes it easy to operate no need for temp control and it claims not to scorch. The steaming is impressive and even though you get a large water tank it will guzzle through fairly quickly but it's testament of the strength of the steam pressure. Why drop one star ? The heating for the steam function to switch on takes approx 2mins which is crazy and also, not easy to wrap the cable on the device.

Great Iron with Amazing Results!
Bought for my son in the army. Great iron and has been a big help to him in reducing his ironing time, and the good results it produces.

Not fit for purpose i.e. ironing.
I'm giving this iron one star because it has a long flex, that's unusual these days where minimum is the norm.Otherwise, I found it unfit for purpose. It is supposed to heat and determine the right temperature for ironing. It may if you want cool but to iron creased cotton it simply never got hot enough and didn't remove the majority of the creases making the use of it a waste of time as things had to be redone later. I'm sorry I disposed of the packaging otherwise it would be returned.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “The Iron That Made Me a Wrinkle-Fighting Hero!”
I never thought I’d love an iron, but here we are. This Philips Azur 8000 Series is an absolute powerhouse. It glides over my laundry like a figure skater at the Olympics, leaving behind perfectly smooth, wrinkle-free glory. Honestly, I’m half expecting a cape to come with it because it makes me feel like a superhero of housework! The steam boost is no joke—it’s like having a mini dragon helping you tackle stubborn creases. And the OptimalTEMP Technology? Life-changing. No more panic attacks over accidentally scorching my favorite shirt. It’s as if this iron reads my mind and adjusts itself like some kind of laundry wizard. Now ironing is less of a chore and more of a power move. Whether it’s shirts, sheets, or the occasional kid’s craft project, this iron takes everything in stride. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to feel like they’ve conquered Mount Laundry—one smooth shirt at a time! 🦸♀️✨

Good, but not as expected
I like the look and build quality of this iron. It irons well, but takes a little while to heat up. It’s also fairly heavy, which is ok if you’re using as an iron, but if you steaming an item vertically it’s heavy. My partner struggles a little when she’s steaming one of her expensive dresses on a hanger. But for shirts, jeans etc it’s brilliant on an ironing board. The most annoying thing about this iron is the inability to wind up the cord on the iron. It’s been poorly designed from that perspective. There is also a lack of settings. It is meant to be a “smart” iron, but God knows what that really translates to - just marketing BS from my perspective. However it does the job I require, but if I had my choice again I’d probably consider alternatives.
