6 year old loved it
My 6 year old nephew is getting into coding and absolutely loved this! He opened this and as soon as I said it was a coding book his eyes lit up and he immediately sat down and began looking through the book. There are a lot of pop up tabs, pulling tabs, and spinning wheels in this sturdy board book that walks you through decision making processes. I'd say this was a win.

Clear thinking for children.
This is SO clear. Some words are complex & have to be originally read to youngsters. The book does an excellent job of explaining them. There are tabs along the way to pull out making it fun almost like a puzzle. If children learn this logic process, it should help them in everything they do.

Execellent and fun intro to coding
This is a terrific book. I bought it for a 6-year-old and it was perfect. She loved it and wanted to do the whole thing in one sitting. I previewed it and learned a lot myself. This book is an excellent way to introduce coding concepts to kids and set up a life-long love of STEM.

Good for a child that's already a decent reader
My 6-year-old got this for his birthday, and is really enjoying the puzzles. Lift-the-flap style pages are pretty well designed and they explain concepts well without needing to use electronics. However, there is a lot of text. My son is developing his reading skills, and is only just ready to attempt tackling large amounts of text of his own accord. I wouldn't recommend this for a child that is not a confident reader.

Great confidence builder
Great first introduction to coding. I wasn't sure how you could introduce coding in a book but they did a great job! My 7 year old daughter loves it. It was challenging enough to make her think through the answers but not hard enough to make her give up. Definitely, recommend for an introduction to coding and building confidence in coding.

interactive and colorful
My daughters and I are liking this book. Its colorful and interactive which makes it interesting. It takes a few reads for them to understand the concepts but when they like a book, my daughters like me to read the same book a million times so thats actually a plus. My daughters are ages 3 and 4.

Not interesting enough for a “first” coding book if you’re planning to start ‘em young.
Too wordy for a younger child, doesn’t hold their interest even if they’re really intelligent and can read well, better for an older child. My child expects to open a flap and see a surprise picture, not more words.

What you see is what you get
I bought this for a child I don’t know how much they have looked at it or learned from it but from my understanding it is comprehendible for a child.
