I am updating my review, and changing my 3 stars to 5 stars! After giving my initial review, the company Under Cover had emailed me asking me if I was satisfied with my purchase and If I would give them a review on Amazon. I informed them of the situation that I had with the pants and that I reviewed them and gave then 3 stars. I was totally shocked when I received a reply from them. They apologized for the problem that I had with the pants and said that they were sending me a new pair, free of charge. And believe it or not, they did! I have had a chance to use them in my water class and they are wonderful! The seems were sewn to perfection! I checked before I even put them on. I really do love these pants and it makes me super happy to have a company stand by their product and to back their word. I will be ordering from them again and I do recommend them. Way to go Under Cover! The quality of the second pair was superb!Original review: I ordered the Capri style swim pants in a 5xl. They are true to size. They look small when you take them out, but are made of swim suit material and stretch. They are not thin looking when on. I bought them to wear in my water aerobics class and I love them. I have had problems with them sliding down, it took me a few classes to realize I needed to pull them up further or I will wear my one piece swim dress over them so that I don't have to keep making adjustments. I think a lot of the reason why they slide down is because I wear a pair of swim bottoms under them, I am not brave enough to go commando. The reason I am giving them a 3 star is because of the quality of the sewing. As soon as I put them on there was a hole. Since I was running late and wanted to wear the pants I hand stitched the hole. To make a long story short, I had to get out the sewing machine and resew the pants. Every seem had stitching that had come out, I even had to zigzag the edges. As of right now, there have not been any more problems. They have great compression, but not to much. Wonderful for the pool.

Sooooo glad I got these! Use them at the lake and they were wonderful! Dried quickly when in and out of water. I did not feel the need to wear bathing suit bottoms under these. I felt the coverage was great; no see through, etc. No chaffing in sensitive places. Wonderful for water skiing, water sports for any age; (wish I had these years ago to prevent the water park slide wedges when standing up). Provides much needed UPF 50+ protection from the suns ultra-violet rays without needing to apply sunscreen, yay! Fits nicely; I brought these in medium and I wear size 8; doesn't hug like spank, but does help to hide unwanted bumps in undesirable places.Suggestion: make in other colors such as dark/marine/navy blue - when you do, I'll buy a pair in those colors as well!Update: 08/2017, still wearing original black pair from over a year ago. Pants still look like new, no color fading even though I wear them in the chlorine-pool several times per month. I wash them in cold water on delicate cycle, hang up to dry & they have held their shape nicely. Some loose threads around calf area on one leg; overall still pleased with purchase.

I was so delighted to find swim gear that met my needs--I simply do not feel comfortable wearing traditional swimsuits due to my size and modesty. However, swimming is great exercise, and I want to be able to enjoy time in/around water with my family and friends. These swimming capris were perfect: long enough (mid calf and I am 5'9",), black, plain, good swim material that dried quickly, and the price was right! Most modesty swim wear is extremely expensive. I also bought a rash guard swim suit from another seller so between these capris and that swim shirt, I was covered like I want to be and did not have to worry as much about sunburn, another concern with my fair skin though I did apply sunscreen to any bare skin.I was surprised to find swim capris in a size as large as I needed, and they do fit! Be aware that there are not panties built in, but I wore my own simply for my own comfort yet could have gone without as well; the fabric is thick enough either way. Thank you for offering a great product for plus size women who don't care to "flaunt it" but want to be able to swim and enjoy the water without feeling self-conscious. These swim capris are fantastic!

I got these as an alternative to a regular swimsuit because my legs have gotten white beyond compare these last two years and I didn't want to risk a sunburn on my first trip to the beach. Truly, my only complaint (and it's the reason it's a four star and not five) is that the way they're made makes them a natural sand trap below the knees. Seriously, the first time I took them off after being in the ocean I couldn't believe how much I found caked inside! To be fair, I have a three year old, so I spent a lot of time sitting directly on the sand playing with him, but still.Good things about them: super comfy, fit as expected, and stayed in place while swimming. No chaffing in sensitive places, and since they're black they'll pretty much go with anything. Now, it wasn't super hot where we were, and I'm not sure these would be as comfortable in truly hot weather unless you were in the water the whole time. Overall, though, I'm a very satisfied costumer.
