iRees MX200 5/4 Horsepower Food Waste Disposer | Kitchen Sink Garbage Disposal Unit | Continuous Feed with Power Cord

I installed this about 6 months ago. Installation was as easy as could be (I'm definitely not a plumber or and electrician). I hard wired it as I was replacing an existing unit that was leaking. It's no louder than the smaller hp unit I took out. It's not quiet, but not overly loud. I wasnt concerned about noise when I bought it though. It definitely has plenty of hp for everything I need. My only complaint (and its minor) is the rubber splash guard that goes in the sink. Its smaller than my old one, and it isn't fixed. So it catches a lot of food which doesn't make it's way down to the disposal. I guess it's nice that it removes easily, so you can flip it over and rinse the scraps down. Definitely don't want to run the disposal without the splash guard, or you'll get wet. Not the end of the world; just mildly annoying. Overall, it's a great disposal for the price. I'd buy again.

I was hesitant to buy this disposal because it was half the cost of the other disposal I was looking at and also had more power. The whole time installing it I was waiting for the gotcha moment when I would realize my mistake. There were not gotcha moments and the disposal works amazingly well. It is also very quiet, much more quiet than the previous unit I had from home depot.I also purchased a push button switch for the unit which installed flawlessly.The installation instructions could have been a little easier to understand but all in all, it was a breeze. You won't be disappointed.

My badger 5XP stopped working and I wanted something that would be powerful, last, and quiet. I looked around and the reviews on the iRees said it was a great machine for a great price. I just received it and installed it using the easy setup features. And sure enough it was easy, fast, and very quiet. I was impressed with the large amount of sound insulation put around the motor itself. The entire motor is enclosed with sound insulation even.Very quite even it's a 5/4 horsepower beast.I think this is one of the best products I have purchased for the home.

Unfortunately it did not work for us We hired a plumber to come install it when we found out that there is NO video to show you how to install it. Their website no longer exists. The plumber said it was a low quality item. His words "hmm plastic". Once installed it would make a horrible loud sound which was not normal. The plumber said it was defective and he would not recommend this plastic product. He uninstalled it. Expensive lesson learned here and very unhappy.

The media could not be loaded.  This clear my kitchen.I think this one is helpful a lot for the kitchen. Some time we can not clear all the food or something like this on the sink and what is wrong. Water will not going then I need to work a lot on this situation. Wow, and this is my perfect method for this situation.This is not easy to set up but any way, I think that after it be done, you will see how it is perfect idea.Then, compare with some other kitchen disposer, this work well and very well.

Very good design for the install. A little time consuming but it's a different setup from the drain down than I had, which the instructions took complete care of.Product is quiet and powerful. Only thing to say is that the "teeth" are on a swivel and click when turned on. Works as advertised and I would recommend this product as a great alternative to a brand name.

This is a great deal for the price (under $100): Powerful (5/4 hp) , fairly quiet and EASY to install! My lousy GE that came with the house self-destructed a few days earlier; but all I had to do was buy a new drain tube for a couple $ and ‘plug&play’.
