Got this to use for hotpot but the flavor was kind of bland and sweet. Everyone ended up choosing other flavors over this one, so I guess that means they also felt the flavor was just meh. Maybe I will use this in another way.

We have severe food allergies so we were unable to use 2 of the products. They were labeled for shellfish and tree nuts. They tasted good, and if you have none, I would agree the 4 different flavors would satisfy a fun night of hot pot. We did enjoy the 2 we could eat.

In the last year, I've been on a mission to get the perfect hot pot soup base. Most of the ones I've tried are either WAY too spicy or have extreme levels of sodium beyond what I would be comfortable consuming. This one is the best one I have found so far. It isn't over the top with sodium and doesn't have spice, so I can adjust that myself. This one is the best family friendly one, as in everyone in my family agrees on this one. I will absolutely buy more. Highly recommended.
