Q: Is this ceramic pipe practical for smoking, does it get hot when smoked? and is it durable or fragile and breaks if dropped?

as somebody else said- all bowls get warm when they get smoked- this is no exception. my weed smoking friend says ceramic stays cooler than other things so I went with that. (in 115F weather it gets pretty hot at the bottom of the bowl- but so did my wood pipe). It's ceramic so yes it will break if you drop it.

Q: How to clean pipe? i soak my other pipes in alcohol. but i don’t know to clean this one. i have one and like it bu it t needs to be cleaned. thanks

Dear Sir, the pipe is made by ceramic, it is the same as ceramic rice bowl. so you can clean it like washing bowl. Just wash it by water, that's OK, if you think it is not clean enough, you also can use some detergent. Please Do not soak it in flammable liquids such as alcohol or detergent,et al. By the way, if you soaked it in alcohol or detergent et al accidentally, please make sure the alcohol is cleaned up before you smoke the pipe. Because if the alcohol residue is still on the pipe, when you light the tobacco in pipe bowl,the alcohol residue on the pipe will burn. thanks.

the pipe can use a filter or not, it depend on your like, some people use the filter and other people don't use filter.
