Intercultural Communication in Contexts, 6th Edition 6th Edition

The description of this textbook was spot on! I wasn't expecting much with this being a used textbook, even though it was described as like new. Other companies sold this exact edition in worse shape for much more. I'm very happy with this company and even happier to have saved so much money!

As a Communication major, this book is a great find on Amazon because most Intercultural classes require it..and it's so much more expensive in a college's bookstore.The textbook by itself is also a good read, and probably particularly relevant with everything currently occurring politically and socially in the US. I'm sad to say I didn't keep the textbook after I graduated.

People should just give this book a five stars for three reason.1) it is cheaper from the freaken book store2) if they give the correct vision ( the actual book you need for the class).3) it is readable.I got this book for my summer communication class for intercultural communication, Sure, this book is old (duh, is for rent), there might be a little mistake highlighter makes, BUT IT IS OKAY!!!!

There are typos and misspelled words in almost every chapter, and each chapter is about 50 pages of hard to read material. It's a shame too, because this seems like interesting material that just needs to be presented better. An example of a book that does this much better is Joel Spring's American Education (i have the 19th edition)

I had to purchase this book for my "Intercultural Communication" class this fall. Our professor made us read every chapter. I do think it is an interesting book, but I do not think that you will find any theories that will change the way you look at intercultural communication. Great introduction book none the less.

I wish I could read more about this book. since I am a busy person. I enjoyed reading this book. make sure you understand it. I highly recommend this book to anyone that Is taking this class. however, reading in depth will benefit you.
