Does it fit XG35VQ?
I've purchased it and tried fitting for XG35VQ. But it seems like it doesn't fit. Is it really so? Is there some other desktop mounts for that?

Very impresses
Solid and easy to install. Cleans the desk nicely. Very happy.

Fits perfectly
Asus has a compatibility list on their site for this base that’s more extensive than the monitors listed in the monitors. Very sturdy and easily adjustable.

Opens up space under monitor.
Not only does this mount open up additional space under the monitor, but also provides additional rotational movement of the monitor, from side to side. This mount is far better than the stationary feet, which ship with the Asus 49” monitor.

Too limited in its application, and too short
First off, ASUS support reps misled me in this purchase. Though my ROG STRIX XG309CM is not listed in compatibility, I was assured that it is. Well guess what? It’s not. So shame on me for trusting their support to be informed.Imo an ROG desk mount should be compatible with your entire lineup since it’s release, but whatever.Even if it was physically compatible, it’s impractical compared to a standard VESA mount pole. I’m 6’ 4” and set the top of my monitor level with my eyes so I don’t strain my neck looking downward. This mount needs to be about 2” taller to compensate for the limited range of height adjustment of my monitor. It’s a shame. ASUS totes some very appealing feature sets: monitors with integrated 1/4” sockets for webcams or DSLRs but the integration affects height adjustment of the monitor itself. The stand is too short to be ergonomic for tall people. This desk mount is too short to overcome either, and it does not have enough compatibility (despite their ROG lineup sharing similar aesthetics). It should’ve been a slam dunk.Instead of a $50 paperweight.
