Writech pens = Awesome!
These pens are super cool! The ink just glides, and the colors are awesome. Totally worth grabbing.

[UPDATED] Great colors for the price
[UPDATED 01/13/23] I decided to try these out again when I switched from the Hobonichi Cousin to the Kokuyo Jibun Techo, and they fare much better with this paper. It’s like night and day. The ink flow can still be inconsistent at times, but I made sure to clean off every tip thoroughly and that helped. The yellow and olive green pens are in my daily rotation now and I couldn’t be happier. I still wouldn’t put them above the Sarasa Vintage (or my current favorite, the Pilot Juice Up Classic Glossy), but they’re worth a try for the color selection alone.[ORIGINAL] My favorite gel pens are the Sarasa Vintage line, and while the color options with these are almost as nice, the pens themselves are average at best. Clicking them is unpleasant because they tend to catch while extending and slip back down, which will likely end up wearing out the pen body and spring mechanism quickly. The ink flow isn’t great, either — it tends to skip, leading to broken lines. It makes for a rough, inconsistent writing experience. I still gave these three stars because it’s what I expected from a cheaper pen line, but I’m still sad that these colors won’t get much use from me due to the overall build quality.

Nice Smooth Writing, Hard to Guess the Ink Color
I really like most of the colors and the ink is really smooth when writing on multiple surface qualities. The tone of the colors is bright and sharp. The ink hasn’t bled on any paper I’ve used so far, and it tries quickly - definitely a plus since they are a gel pen. There is a nice range of colors except for the yellow. The yellow hue is all but invisible on anything I’ve done so far. It would have been better to make a lemon-lime color as the green is a dark forest, and then this ink could have been visible. But unfortunately I really have no idea when I could actually use the yellow and see it.The design of the crystalline pen casings looks nice but in practice makes it hard to know which color you are grabbing - the pink, red, orange and even yellow all look similar to the colors next to them on the color wheel unless physically next to each other. Even the blue, green & black are close enough that I’ve grabbed the wrong color by mistake. I’m not as picky in my colors now in my life, but definitely would have drove me crazy a few years ago that I’m regularly grabbing a different color than I meant to.I know I complained about the color picking, but that’s just trying to spell out the reality to spare the people it would bother. Other than the yellow, I really really like these pens and I’m glad I have them.

Great gel pen
I love my gel pans but I am super picky. These are comfortable to write with, good size, very good design. They write very good, no skipping or bleeding through the paper.

Beautiful colors & ink flow
I love these vintage colors. Typically, I prefer 0.7 or 1.0 pen tips, but the ink flow of these pens is pretty smooth :D So I don't mind the 0.5 tip on these :)

Love these pens, hate the flimsy clip
[Pictured: current pen with the stress crack, old pen with the only solution I could find to keep it working after the clip cracked in half and couldn't activate the mechanism]These pens write well and are great for everything...except if you're going to have them attached to anything with the clip. I purchased these pens once in a color themed set and had one slipped onto a pen holder--nothing too thick, meant for pen clips to slide past--and before long, the clip formed a crack from the stress of the pen holder, I guess. The clip eventually broke all the way, rendering the pen pretty much useless.I feel like it's a pretty big design flaw to have your pen's ability to pro/retract solely reliant on the most breakable part of the object, but hey: what do I know?I thought it was a fluke, too, so I repurchased this set to get a working version of the color that broke; lo and behold that clip is cracking now, too. It's a shame because I love the colors of these pens--they're unique and unlike any others I've found. Guess I've got to retire the Writech pen and use something else that won't break within a month or two of minimal use.

Best pens I have ever used
I ordered these because I needed new ones for work, I liked the colors on the barrels. I tried them out and they write so smooth and consistent! The colors in the ink are bright and beautiful! Perfect for journaling, planning or note taking. I also want to mention how comfortable the grip is with these. I am a very picky pen user. My hands can no longer grip stick type pens and these were thicker so easy for me to hold.
