Would buy again!
Great for making a gluten free trifle. They were quite crispy in texture, but softened up when I poured the sherry all over them and tasted great once done. Very easy to use, easily broken to fit whatever bowl you’re using and not expensive for GF so I was happy.

Don't waste your money
Hate to even give 1 star. Texture is dry and crumbly. Not as pictured. Not a sandwich cookie w/ chocolate. Terrible don't waste your money.

Product (5 stars) - Presentation (1 star)
Having family members who can't have gluten, these really are the best! Flavor and texture are wonderful! The whole family prefers these to any other brand. The only problem is that this is the third time that they have been delivered in pieces, which is quite frustrating when you're making tiramisu. I give the product 5 stars but want the buyer to be aware that they may not get the pretty lady fingers they are expecting.

Excellent taste
Had excellent taste however be aware that they are very delicate and crumble easily. Amazon shipped my order in puffy envelope instead of box and it arrived without a s8ngle whole ladyfinger.

Arrived smashed
Fortunately, we were making tiramisu so I was able to kind of squish them back together.Great product, not so great handling.

Better than the regular lady fingers!
I was making tiramisu for a family dinner. I decided to make them an individual portion sizes due to my sister being allergic to gluten I wanted to make a separate one just for her. My experience with gluten-free products that they don’t tend to have the flavor or texture that the gluten containing items tend to however, that was not the case with these cookies. After comparing them side-by-side with the regular Lady finger cookies I had purchased I actually liked these gluten-free ones better and ended up using them Instead for everyone’s desserts. Turned out perfectly! They were not too absorbent of the coffee, Kahlúa mixture, but absorbed enough to have good flavor

Disappointed
With celiac disease was so happy to find these. I bought 2 packs and all broken and for this cost ridiculous. You can buy regular lady fingers for $4 at the store. I know this cause I made tiramisu for a lot of people. Having a medical disease is always a hardship and the cost for what we can eat is crazy then side products like is even worse. Please find a better way cause we pay too much for your products and we get crap.

I made a fantastic Trifle
For those who don't know what a trifle is it's a layered dessert with sponge cake or lady fingers on the bottom covered with fruit cocktail then covered with custard or pudding then covered with whipped cream. I make a traditional English Sherry Trifle where the lady fingers are doused with (a bit of) sherry wine.My friend has celiac autoimmune disease, so I always try to make a gluten-free dish for her when we're at parties together. I came across these Schar Gluten Free Lady Fingers and thought I'd try a gluten-free Trifle (by the way, there is a recipe for gluten-free tiramisu on the packaging). They are stiffer than regular ladyfingers and at first I was worried. They are more like cookies out of the box than cake - you can't cut into them without breaking them into pieces. I was worried that soaking them with liquid would turn them to mush, but I only added a bit to coat each one and several hours later (and even next day) they kept their form and was even spongy (and tasty). I don't recommend drenching them or they will likely go to mush! The dish was a complete success, both in taste and in structure. A very good product!
