Works great with an aftercooler
I used this in conjunction with a homemade compressor aftercooler and the result is incredible! So good, in fact, that I may have to purchase an automatic-draining unit because otherwise I have to stop what I'm doing and empty it constantly. It's completely full of water after 2-3 fill cycles. The idea here is to cool the air charge as quickly as possible, and as early as possible in the system. When you add an aftercooler and put the dryer between the cooler and tank, it helps to condense and remove the excess moisture long before it reaches the air hose. Since I've done this, I have ZERO moisture coming out of my air tools, and almost zero moisture draining out the bottom of the compressor tank. I have yet to run a paint gun on this setup, but will be doing so soon. For those wondering, the aftercooler setup is simple... a box fan, the largest cheapo transmission cooler I could find, a roll of 3/8 aluminum fuel line, some compression fittings, this dryer, and some creativity.

So far so good as airbrush filters
So far so good, bought these to keep water and possible oil out of my airbrush line from a 30 gal oiled compressor. I have the 1/2 post air compressor and the 1/4 at the terminal end. Had to purchase 1/2 in to 1/4 in reducer separately for the half inch model. Posted a pic for size comparison since seller failed to do so for some reason. Iโm not sure if this was the issue that others have been complaining about with leaking but the 1/2 leaked from the release valve at first but once it fully pressurized and the rubber seal on the bottom fully seated, itโs now air tight. I tested it out in ~70% humidity, the filter first in line air felt a little moist from the release valve, the second seems completely dry and the air from the brush is completely dry. So I would say definitely worth the purchase. Summer time will be the real test though, will update then if they under-perform

Well made , works great
The housing is very well built and solid. Mounts easily with bracket provided. The filter capacity is amazing and works very well at removing water. The water release does spray out in whatever direction you point your finger so take care as to where you want it to go. Very good value for the cost.

Great quality
Well designed and no leaks. Has held up better than some of the other bigger name brand filters.

Excellent Product
This air line filter is solid and well made. It's compact enough that I was able to easily install it inline on my DeWalt 30-gallon air compressor. Servicing the filter is a no brainer. It's perfect for occasional use of my air impact wrench, which requires 90 PSI. The unit comes with a steel bracket to use as an optional wall mount. Keep in mind that if you chose to use the wall mount, you will need an appropriate length whip hose between the filter and the air compressor. Depending on your setup, you may need other 1/4" adapters to complete the installation. This unit does not ship with any connecting adapters.

I don't know what to say. It is small that's for sure.
What I don't like is the fact that the bowl does not screw on. All it has is an O'ring that seals the bowl to the metal housing . I just got it today and to be fair have not installed it yet. I got it because it is just a device to filter out small particles and trap moisture from getting into my few air tools. I have Passche units with a regulator and gauge which don't have the plastic cover over the bowl yet the bowls on the Passche units for air brushes have a thick O'ring and the bowl screws in place. That to me seems much better built. Outside of the regulator and gauge the Passche units bowl is larger has the same 5 micron filter and a much better drain. It is also a metal housing . I'm not sure about the air flow ratings with the regulator wide open or if it's restrictive since this model I just got is designed for no air flow restriction. I can see this as an add on for an air brush if your compressor has a regulator or as an add on after and air brush regulator like the Badger or Passche . My compressor has a regulator and I always used it to control the pressure before the air brush regulator even though the bowl and unit are rated for 135 PSI Max , My compressor only puts out 100 PSI . Once I figure out what the flow is on the Passche unit model R-75 I may use it instead . Basically I just don't like the bowl sealed by a thin O'ring held in place via the gray plastic cover, the bowl is the only outward force to seal the O'ring . I did read a few reviews that mentioned air leaks. The bowls shield is a good idea just in case the bowl ruptures. Not sure I may return it . It looks very similar to the one Ingersoll Rand offers just costs less.

2 filters and both defective
Won't buy this filter again. Within a week of installation, first one started leaking air where bowl joins housing, nor did it show any water collected. Returned it for replacement. Second one started a minor air leak at about 2 months where bowl joins housing and just got worse as time went by. Also never saw a drop of water in it. Yes I did have it installed correctly with correct air flow direction and my compressor puts out a maximum of 140psi. When I removed the filter there was oddly a small amount of water in the pipe on compressor side of filter. I'm very surprised that both units were defective especially since there were many positive reviews.

Incorrect / misleading specifications
Clearly advertised in the item description, max input pressure 250psi. When I physically check the unit on the side of the bowl shield it says max pressure is 145psi. Needed the unit to get my compressor working, now I have to go and search for another suitable unit. What a waste of time and effort. Going straight back for a refund. One star due to incorrect / misleading specifications.
