Fantasy Flight Games X-Wing Second Edition: T-65 X-Wing

I've had one of these hanging in my vehicle for 25 yrs, multiple vehicles! recently got this one for a work vehicle, as I was loathe to remove the one from my personal whip. they used to market/sell this size star wars spaceship model "danglers" that were on a wire & included a little suction cup, cost like $7. they don't make them anymore, but this is a great alternative... in fact, it is nicer than the one in my van. I just snipped the little .5" plastic rod that attaches to the base, threw the cards in the trash & used some thread on this one. I luv it, even tho it is too expensive.

The X-Wing is the most iconic ship in Star Wars. While you already have atleast one of these this is a ship that is perfect to have multiples of. Now why should you buy it here? Well buying it here comes with more unique pilots such as Wedge. So should you buy one? Lets see. Positives: - Super Iconic (I mean the game is called X-Wing for a reason) - 3 attack dice making them great at jousting - has decent health - solid dial - good action bar - versatile (can equip torpedoes and droids) - great to fly in packs (wings) - very beginner friendly and yet still fun and competitive for experienced players. - a GREAT list of pilots with more coming. Negatives: - some people have gotten tired of seeing these over time. People don't seem to get as excited to fly an X-Wing because everyone who has played this game has used it. - the cheapest version is currently 39 points so it isn't extremely cheap to field. Overall: I recommend ultimately getting 2 X-Wings from two starter sets (I recommend buying a second started set as your second purchase). I would then get at least 1 from this blister pack. My "competitive list consists of 5 X-Wings and that's it. This ship is definitely a ship you want to get good with because it is so versatile. This is another reason why it is a good idea to have more than one in your collection.

Love the Fantasy Flight game. Product is great fun to play. Easy setup. Can be a bit complicated to learn how to play the first time but easy game to play after a few games. My 8 year old loves playing with me.
