These are hook and loop style
Be aware that these are hook and loop style - not double sided adhesive, as I expected. That's OK, though. All are identical and cling to each other without needing to separate hooks from loops. Thus, the 32 strips I received made 16 pair, as advertised.

They work.
They are good. I’ve removed them a year later and they left the paint on the wall. Follow directions for installation and removal.

Fake, counterfeit, not real 3M Command strips
I received FAKE Command Strips! The strips were sent in a plastic bag, the strips do not have proper 3M markings. If you have used 3M strips in the past, you will notice that the “Velcro” is not the same. The adhesive is subpar. I am returning these and I have reported these counterfeit Command strips to 3M. This is a one star review, but my review was only accepted when I marked the product as five stars.

eavy-duty hold without the hammer
These extra-large Command strips are seriously strong — I used them to hang a large, heavy mirror and multiple framed prints, and they haven’t budged an inch. No nails, no holes, no tools — just clean, damage-free hanging that looks seamless. Installation is simple, and the best part is that removal is clean and easy, with no residue or peeling paint. Perfect for renters, dorms, or anyone who changes up their wall art often. If you’re tired of patching walls or wrestling with anchors, these are a total lifesaver.

Good but when I put it on my picture frame it did not hold but over all it is good

Great - but weight capacity shown can be deceptive
Command strips - the plastic loop type - always stick together well and much better than the "cloth" ones. These were used to replace ones outdoors holding some rain curtains in place; to hold up a heavy plastic sheet as a guard on bannister railing; to hang a light picture frame; and to store ceiling fan and light remotes on the walls of different rooms. TIP: Note that the maximum weight capacity shown on the container is achieved by using multiple sets of strips, NOT one set only. For example, the container may say 20 lbs., but that may only be true when using 4 sets of strips together for one application. FYI - I have not used these to hold any item that meets the maximum weight on the package. I used 4 sets on a medium-sized, light picture frame because there was no other way to hang it and I needed to be certain it wouldn't fall.

Holds frames easily!
These worked amazingly well for hanging my gallery wall photos. It made it so much easier to align them! They are very strong and held the frames easily, and were easy to apply. Highly recommend! Plus, no holes made in the plaster walls.

Hate your frames &LOVE broken glass everywhere? Look no further!
Last night I finally hung all my art and photos - only to be woken up every 10 minutes with them crashing off my walls and calling in 2 hours late to work to clean up all the glass. Here is what happened: I’ve used Command strips for at least the last 5+ years. LOVE THEM as a renter. I always buy strips that can hold more weight than I need. I use 2 strips per frame. Never had an issue. Not once. I moved in June and have TONS of art and photos ranging from 4x6 frames to framed paintings weighing about 7 lbs. And due to life circumstances, I finally got a moment to hang up all my wall decor using 2 batches of command strips I purchased after moving (one in June and one in August - I have a lot of framed wall decor). I spent about 10 hours carefully leveling and applying pressure each time. And I was relieved to finally be set up in my new place. I went to bed about 2.5 hours later… and starting around 1am, I was woken up every dozen or so minutes to a frame falling from the wall. I needed to get sleep so I would go back to sleep and then be woken up several minutes… Minutes… later with an another frame coming off the wall. I woke up an hour early, knowing that I had glass covering every floor in every room from these frames shattering… I probably have several thousand dollars invested in my frame jobs by the way…. And even with that extra hour in the morning, I still had to call in to work two hours late cleaning up all the glass and now have a pile of broken, framed, art, and photos sitting on my living room floor. When I opened the batches, I bought in June and August. I thought it was weird that the strip he removed to expose the adhesive was clear and did not have the green command written in diagonal repeating lines. But I did notice the difference. I went to the store today and purchased a package and they had that green striped command text… And as soon as I got home 4 1/2 hours ago, I tested out the store bought bunch, and not a single broken frame has fallen off my wall. And I bought a small/medium mix pack - meaning some of the ones I was using that failed last night were supposed to hold considerably more weight I do not know why the two most recent batches of command strips that I bought from Amazon failed me the way they did. But this is a nightmare. Years of investing my money in professional framing for my art and photos… An entire day hanging photos… A work night with no sleep… And waking up to glass covering every floor in my home… This is a nightmare. I do not wish upon anybody else. Go to the store and buy your command strips. YES I GET IT. AMAZON IS CONVENIENT. But I’m leaving reviews on the two batches I purchased in June and August… Do not buy from the sellers. They are not legitimate and they do not hold your frames… So the 20 minutes you saved running to the store is going to seem silly when you’ve thrown away money on frames And hours on cleaning up broken glass . Just go to the store. Learn from my mistake.
