A classic pencil. Grip placement is comfortable and refilling is easy. They’re perfect for writing notes and quick sketches. My favorite part is switching the erasers around to make them all different colors.

These are the best pencils for my 4th and 9th grader. They are easy for them to grip and come with an eraser that actually works. The lead is long lasting and easy to buy replacements for.

My daughter begged (and I mean begged) for THESE particular mechanical pencils like they were some kind of holy grail of school supplies. Normally, they’re a bit pricey, but I found a good deal on Amazon and splurged for the 10-pack. Honestly? I get the hype now. They feel high-quality, the plastic is super durable, and the lead doesn’t snap every two seconds like the cheap ones. Plus, they look pretty cool… I’m just waiting for my kid to start writing bestselling novels with them since they’re that special.

I don’t like the pencils that we get at our office, so I bought these instead. They’re super easy to use. The lead is good quality and doesn’t break easily I wish the erasers weren’t so small. . Still, a good value for the money.
