Works great, but requires software/equipment
Works great! You DO need to have equipment to program this. Nissans don't have any easy DIY programming like a lot of older Toyotas...My Autel worked fine for programming two keyfobs. You'll also need a key cutting machine for the physical key. If you don't have either of these, expect to spend $80 to $120 for a locksmith or dealer to program the fob and cut the key.

Quick Fix!
Ordered this Nissan Altima key fob from Amazon. I thought of a way not to have to take it to the dealership to get programmed. I have been taping my key fob together for 2 yrs. I dropped it and broke it. It no longer would lock and unlock doors. It wouldn’t open my trunk. The only way my push start would work is if I inserted it into a slot to the left of the steering wheel.. I figured out a quick fix! It’s working now! I highly recommend this product. Great price too!

The fit
This key even though it says it's compatible to several cars, ours being a Nissan Maxima,this key CANNOT be programmed because it has no #'s inside it to make it programmable, we took it to a dealership, so do not buy, because they are not returnable
